Feature: Passive and radiant cooling applications Currently applicable clean room standards Latest trends in refrigerant blends Latest trends in refrigerant blends Energy conservation building code, star labeling program and Green Building Rating system Review: Very much Satisfied, I invested my money and time both at the correct place. - This book is very good for beginners and also for the experienced persons in the field of HVAC. Everything explained in a detailed manner with proper illustrations and language is very easy. Also there are very nice examples which will help the beginners to grab the concepts easily. If you gone through this book thoroughly no doubt you will be a pro in the field of HVAC. Thank you. Review: Content Excellent, Paper & Binding Quality Needs Improvement - I recently purchased the P. N. Ananthnarayana book on Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. From a technical and conceptual point of view, the book is excellent. The explanations are clear, fundamentals are well covered, and it is very useful for students as well as working professionals in HVAC&R. However, I am a bit disappointed with the paper quality and binding. The paper feels thin, and the binding does not seem very durable for regular use. Considering this is a reference book that is often used repeatedly, better print and binding quality would have added more value. Overall, I highly recommend this book for its content, but the publisher should definitely improve the physical quality of the book.

Ultimate HVAC literature.
This is the best book in the HVAC industry. I don't understand why our colleges are not utilizing it in their curriculum. It deals with every aspect of the industry. I recommend students who love HVAC to follow this book as it will give them insights into the industry that would be helpful in cracking placement interviews. Loved the book, it's amazing. Delivery on time with good packaging as always by Amazon. Thanks Amazon India.

Excellent Source!
After buying several HVAC titles to try and understand how the heating/cooling cycle work, this book gave me a crystal clear understanding. I am a mechanical engineer using this book to either construct or modify a heat pump that will utilize a plate heat exchanger to heat/chill to water. Out of the three books I bought this one is head and shoulders easier for me to find answers on system design and all the factors that go into it.

Complex, not for beginners
This book is definitely not for beginners. A beginner in reality, is a helper or a person with whos worked 1-3 years with HVAC equipment and is looking to learn air conditioning to a pro level. Im a certified gas technician about to be a sub contractor after 5 years and even Im confused af just reading the first 3 chapters. This book doesnt begin by explaining parts of a basic central air conditioner that is in homes or maybe even split systems. Doesnt explain refrigerant types or why they re used and where. Basic stuff is explaining pipe sizing, insulation, basic wiring, etc. This jumps straight into the complex science of what I understand are the examples of mechanical systems. This book is for guys that have strictly worked only in the air conditioning field for 2+ years and want to be super pros. Its probably easier for them if they got a 313D license but for beginners with no license, or no constant refrigeration work this book is very complex.

Excellent deal!
Comprehensive well written book. For the person that wants to learn refrigeration basics, the math, the technologies, and some generic fault isolation. We'll worth what I paid for it.
