I absolutely love this shampoo for my upright rug cleaner. It a great size bottle for the money I use it all the time because I have a cat and a dog . When using it in my machine it has a very pleasant scent and cleans my rugs wonderfully. Gets up all stains from little accidents my dog may have all the time . Spray out evenly and is very consistent with drying time every single time. I leaving my carpet clean dry and fresh smelling every single time .

This is 100% a five star plus product! As my dog got older she became a bit incontinent and there were several urine spots on the carpet in a back bedroom I didn't discover for over a month as we don't use that room for anything but some storage. I used this product with my Bissell carpet cleaner and that carpet looks brand new! All the stains are gone and no urine scent. I rarely find a product that works so incredibly well, but this is one of them.I have only one complaint, and it's one most probably won't have. I am very sensitive to scents and the febreeze scent of this cleaner was overwhelming to me. I fixed that by buying their lightly scented version (same exact formula, just not with the strong scent) and it works just as well. If you love the smell of febreeze, or strong scents don't bother you like they do me, you will love this product. If not, just get the lightly scented version (I got it here on Amazon). Either way, this is a great cleaner that really does the job!

Works great but has strange smell

I purchased this to take care of a pet urine smell on our carpeted step. This spot gets hit regularly by our dog and only is noticeable after a few soakings. I have tried a few different carpet cleaning chemicals including pretreatment and the urine smell is still there. I decided to give this product a shot and wow I was not expecting it to be so fragrant. It could be overwhelming for people who are sensitive to scents but this stuff made the whole house smell like Febreze. I only applied it to a small section a few times as I keep washing until the fluid runs mostly clear then follow up with clean water until that runs clear. I didn't really notice it at first but I walked outside to get something then came back in the house and the smell was so nice. I was a good 20 feet away from where I applied it and it greeted me at the front door. I must have been desensitized to it while washing the carpet but going outside then coming back in I smelled it instantly. I would definitely recommend if you are trying to clean and deodorize the carpet because this does mask smells nicely. Now that is where I need to be specific. This did work well in removing the majority of the smell directly from the carpet where it was not detectable even a few feet away but when I get right next to the soiled carpet, about 6 inches, the smell is there but not in the amount it was before the washing. I do think there is a better method for getting the smell out but it likely involves pretreatment, washing and drying. I do think this is a great product for not only getting the carpet clean but leaves a nice scent for 24 hours at least. Perfect for those trying to sell a home or who are expecting visitors and want to leave a nice scent in the air. I would advise against those who have scent sensitivity to use this product as it is very prevalent.
