Cable broken after 1st use
Here's an update review. The seller turn out out be good and honest seller. I recommend buying from this seller they are good about refunding you if somethings wrong. The item i bought the cable broke and the alarm button will not cut off the alarm. Product could just have been one time defect. It happens even in the best of stores...But the seller refunded me right away.

Great volume level – makes it easier to hear phone or music
I’ve never seen anything like this before, but I could immediately tell how useful it would be. It’s a phone stand, which holds the phone vertically or horizontally, facing forward or any direction 360 degrees around, tilted at any angle, and raised up or down. I have a thick phone case, and it holds it just fine. Plus, it’s a great speaker with a decent amount of volume. The tone is slightly bassy, though - it doesn’t have super crisp higher or lighter tones. But it can go much louder than my phone volume. It was super easy to pair it by Bluetooth to my phone. It’s an excellent way to have hands-free phone conversations where you can really hear the person on the other end. It would be helpful for those hard of hearing or in loud environments. Plus, it works even at a distance to the phone, so I can leave my phone plugged in charging and carry the speaker around the house with me while having a conversation or listening to music or a podcast or a video. I can even press a button right on the speaker to take a phone call or hang up a phone call if I’m away from the phone. The only thing I wish it had was some kind of carrying handle. Every time I pick it up, my thumb inadvertently presses the buttons on the side. I really love this phone stand speaker because it does all that I want it to do and for that, I would gladly give it 5 stars. I’m sad to have to take a star away, though, because the clock doesn’t work at all – and I’ve read the instructions and tried all the settings. But I didn’t really get it for the clock, so I personally don’t mind.

Clock display
As the first one I received never displayed correctly and had to be returned. ( black screen). The second clock I received also has issues, with certain numbers not displaying properly. Despite these issues, I am willing to try a third time and hope that I will finally receive a fully functional clock.

Impressive Sound
I got this mainly to act as an amplifying speaker for my phone when I need louder volume. The alarm clock and other features were a bonus, but I really wanted this to act as a phone holder and amplifier. I was really surprised that when I plugged it in, I didn't have to adjust the time- it auto adjusted on its own. I didn't expect that! The features I considered bonuses are absolutely coming in handy already. I love being able to do what I need to do with the buttons right on the device without having to mess with my phone/other devices that I connect to it. The sound on this is super impressive. We're a family of audiophiles- my husband is actually an internationally published fabricator and customizes cars, and a lot of what he does also involves sound quality, so we're all pretty well trained on sound quality. I didn't expect a lot out of this device, just "louder", but I'm really impressed with the balance between the lows, mids and highs. It's all nice and clear. The bass isn't crushed, the highs aren't squealing. Everything is really nicely balanced and yes, this is absolutely LOUD, but they've also achieved balance in the sound which is not something I see a lot in devices like this, so I'm wholly impressed. This is a really nifty device and I'm super happy with it- It's going to get a lot of use in our house! Very happy with it.

Dont but get a better quality one of you can find it
I would say I got what I paid for but would be lying this thing stayed working for 5 min and that was only having it on and setting the clock and Bluetooth. Bluetooth connected but no sound from the speaker tried restarting the stand to see if that would fix the problem now the stand won't turn back on.

Great for sound--only.
For sound output this Joymate phone stand gets 5 stars. It is LOUD. No issues there. For the clock it gets zero stars. Like another reviewer said that when it gets to certain times, especially 12ish it fails as all of the LED lights don't light up to display the numbers correctly. For me, the time of 12:25 displayed as 0:25. C'mon. It's not that difficult to get a clock right. This Joymate is the only one in the market (as of this writing) that has a clock / time display which is a great add. But you can't count on the time when it's displayed incorrectly. It also lacks, which many of these do, a completely separate port to charge a cellphone since it's not a phone bank. That is a needed feature. If you need pumped up sound from your phone (you're hard of hearing, your phone's speakers are shot, too many pet and kid noises around, leaf blowers outside, etc.) this is definitely loud and clear (no distortion or tinny sounds). For me that's what I wanted -- louder volume listening to YouTube or podcasts. But the clock is sketchy although it seems to be around the 12 times only.
