The jointer & planner is a great addition to my shop. The instructions need lots of work, also, what items you are receiving would have been nice to get. The jointer needs to be assembled to use, then broken down to use as a planner. I have a planner, and purchased this for the 10” jointer, and it works great!! Saw reviews and understand the frustration with the instructions, so folks couldn’t get it to work. Thing needing attention; rubber leg for counter top, blade shaft guard before jointer fence, B1&2 do not remove, No U item, dust chute must be installed for either the jointer or planner, and the jointer and planner must be taken apart to use only one tool at a time. Once instructions are improved, more folks would enjoy this tool as I have. Again, it WORKS GREAT!! Power, size, and performance an A+..

I've been in the wood working trades for 4 decades. I wanted a compact planer/jointer for home shop - This was NOT it! - In my opinion this is nothing more than a boat anchor - First, package came taped together like it was previously opened, parts were spewed all through-out box, numerous parts were missing (including 2 legs for the stand) - No assembly instructions - No operating instructions - Found "fixed" outfeed table out of level (and no adjustment is available) Extremely disappointed with this purchase - Will be returning it - I suggest save your money! - Forces me to give it 1 STAR - honestly, I would not give it any stars.

Same thing as someone else., instruction just to assemble confused me. And the grainy pics of the machine wasn’t even my model . In one section of the instruction it mention a part (U) but there’s no part “U” in any of the pictures. Spent a couple hours making sure I assembled it correctly, flipped the switch on…nothing happened. Emailed seller and they told me the upper limit plate needs to be situated in a way it snaps on the internal starter buttons. Huh!?!?! There’s no reference of any this anywhere in the wannabe manual, and I can’t find any online manual or videos to help with this setup.

Half of the parts needed were missing! All of the nuts, bolts, and washers were missing

Do not, buy, do not buy, do not buy. Do not buy. It has the cheapest packaging Shows up damaged, The styrofoam made a mess and was broken. It showed up missing parts. The paint was chipping off of it. It was scratched I was afraid to even plug it up and when I did it didn't work. Do not buy this. Do not buy it. Do not buy it. Do not buy it.

Instructions incomprehensible, parts missing. Totally useless, not satisfied at all . Too big to box up and send back , ready for junk pile
