The ink just sits right on top. I love this pad. Just don’t drag over and over and you’re fine. Nice and thick paper, smooth texture, very bright white. It’s a joy to work with given my various markers. Glad to stop destroying my tips on rough paper! Great value, will buy again for sure.

This is an excellent paper pad for just about anything. The quality is amazing—the surface is smooth, and colors show up vibrant and clear. I tested it with five different materials: acrylic markers, watercolor brushes, regular markers, colored pencils, and Sharpies. Everything performed really well, and I’m very satisfied with how the paper handled each one. It dries quickly, though if you touch it immediately after using a marker, there might be a little smudging—but I did that on purpose just to test it. Overall, it dries impressively fast. I even took a photo of the back of the paper after drawing—no bleed-through at all. You can very faintly see some Sharpie colors, but it’s minimal and honestly better than I expected. For the quality, the price is very reasonable. I’ll definitely be buying more for both practice and finished artwork.

Nice quality sketchbook that is 5×7 inch with anti-bleed pad. It is a multi-media sketchbook excellent for watercolors, acrylic,charcoal, as well as many other mediums. It comes in several sizes and I love this size for on the go. It fits easily in my bag. The pages have a built-in tear line for you to be able to easily remove pages cleanly without the use of scissors. The paper thickness and texture lends itself as a perfect canvas for many mediums. These sketchbooks are well priced for the quality and I would recommend them to any artist from beginner to pro.

Good quality paper. I have used a variety of inks and none have bled through to the other side of the page. The spiral binding is convenient for providing a flat surface to work on. The pages are perferated to make it easy to tear them out of the book, but they stay in place if that's what you want. I like having all my practice papers bound together in one place. If anyone asks to see what I have done, I simply hand the book to them.

My grandson loved the pads of paper. It worked well for the art projects.

Smooth paper that works really well with alcohol markers. Ink blends nicely and doesn’t bleed through as much as regular paper. Very happy with it
