I used this for Night Safari and let me tell you the throw and intensity is very good. Plus this one is Made in Germany so the battery back-up was excellent. I ordered one more from the same brand but it was Made in China hence the battery back-up was poor on that one. So, make sure the product which you receive is Made in Germany that is a better product. Worth the money I have spent on it. There is no warranty mentioned on Amazon so I guess it doesn't come with a warranty.

Starting with Product quality: - Design: Very good. Metal body. Heavy. Sturdy. - Functionality: All the features working perfectly as mentioned. - Range: Very good and high range. - Brightness: It is very very bright (obviously) and as it is white light, it brings out the true colours of the objects on which light is shed. - Zoom feature: Very easy and handy to zoom in and out. Now coming to the usage. I used this torch for a night trek. From brightness point of view, it works as mentioned, but it is too bright for natural world. It acts as an overkill instead of making it easier to look at the path or surroundings. To set the tone, in India, almost all the latest car models have LED headlamps which have 6000 Lumens power. This torch here is 10000 lumens which is little less than double. It does have 3 brightness adjustments, but even the lowest is too bright. This will not be helpful in regular/emergency household chores. Additionally, due to metal body, it is little heavy to carry around. I feel it is not ideal for our daily use but instead is useful only for specific scenarios where we need abundant light. Now coming to final question: Worth the value? - I think it is not worth the money thinking about daily use cases. - only buy if you need it for some specific purpose.

This is very powerful torch, light throw is awesome. The adjustable focus system is also very good. Happy with the purchase, using it since a month.. Have to wait to know the longevity of torch.

Rock solid product. Very well designed with premium materials and well thought out functionality. The torch is built like a tank, and the high quality of materials and attention to details becomes apparent as soon as you pick it up. With an all metal construction with USB C charging, telescopic light adjustments and a mammoth battery, you cannot go wrong with this great product. Truly good value for money and must have essential for home and cars.

Shadowhawk è un brand abbastanza conosciuto per chi ha a che fare con torcie elettriche professionali. Premetto che ci sono volute un po' di ricerche per due ragioni: > Amazon mi ha promosso molte altre torcie e questo brand, per qualche motivo, non saltava subito fuori nonostante le evidenti e numerose recensioni positive; > Shadowhawk non sembra avere un proprio sito web, ergo non sembrano esserci molte informazioni su di loro, a parte una singola pagina messa in mezzo a varie ricerche Google, e non sono sicuro al 100% della sua legittimità. Irrilevante comunque, dato che la qualità del prodotto parlerà per loro. Detto ciò, la confezione mi è stata consegnata con una busta in plastica brandizzata la quale, una volta aperta, ha rivelato una valigetta in plastica, con laccio esterno e rivestita internamente di isolante protettivo, al cui interno ho trovato: • La torcia, con all'interno l'adattatore per pile AAA (ministilo), ed un laccetto • Una batteria ricaricabile 1*26700 da 6000 mAh, sostituibile • Tre pile AAA (ministilo), marca Lanen • Un portachiavi • Un cavo USB-C • Una custodia tattica con attacco per la cintura • Un pieghevole contenente le caratteristiche del prodotto, le specifiche tecniche, le istruzioni, e le precauzioni d'uso. Partendo proprio dal pieghevole, ho potuto subito constatare che la traduzione in Italiano era buona, salvo qualche errore ("mercat" invece di "mercato"), parti non tradotte ("High-Middle-Low-Strobe-SOS" invece di "Alto-Medio-Basso-Stroboscopico-SOS"), sintassi strana ("[Interruttore]: premere l'interruttore" invece di, immagino, "[Interruttore] a pressione") e... le precauzioni d'uso in spagnolo, curiosamente scritte diversamente da quelle effettivamente in spagnolo all'immediata sinistra. Ipotizzo il testo sia stato tradotto con DeepL. Dettagli trascurabili, ma che ho trovato divertenti. Questo perché dopo aver provato la torcia, posso affermarne con certezza la sua qualità: basta prenderla in mano per sentirne il peso e la solidità, resistente abbastanza da essere utilizzata come frangivetro in caso di emergenza. Il suo LED e la lente convessa che monta la rendono estremamente luminosa, capace di irradiare grandi e piccole aree semplicemente tirando (per restringere) o spingendo (per allargare) la testa, funzione ideale sia per illuminare spazi di varie dimensioni e persino emettere un raggio di segnalazione ben visibile di notte (devo ancora valutarne l'effettiva visibilità a varie distanze, però). La torcia possiede quattro mini luci LED che ne indicano il livello di carica (ogni LED equivale al 25%, ma se vi serve qualcosa di più preciso esiste la S1695 che mostra la percentuale su un display). Al momento, non ho ancora potuto testarne l'impermeabilità, ma stando alle istruzioni non è adatta alle immersioni, e non va tenuta in acqua per lunghi periodi di tempo. Un po' me l'aspettavo, dato che non ha nessuna guarnizione in gomma isolante. Non un problema per me, dato che non è l'uso che volevo farne, ma da tenere a mente per gli appassionati. Per accendere la torcia basta premere il tasto, mentre premendolo di nuovo si scorrono le varie funzioni: luce massima, media, bassa, stroboscopica, segnale SOS (tre lampeggi brevi poi tre lunghi seguiti da una pausa prima di ripetere in loop) e poi lo spegnimento. Se la si vuole spegnere subito, bisogna tenere premuto il tasto d'accensione per tre secondi. Una nota negativa, ma dipende dai punti di vista, è che questa torcia, a differenza delle altre come la S1476 o la S1695, non possiede la funzione Input-Output (una presa USB-C ed una USB-A), pertanto non può essere utilizzata come Power Bank e si può solo ricaricare. È una funzione che mi interessava, ma sono stato disattento e non sapevo che questa torcia ne fosse priva. Colpa mia, e non posso biasimare il prodotto. Posso dire che, al momento della recensione, sono assai soddisfatto di questa torcia. Se fossi stato più attento, ne avrei preso una con funzione power bank, ma non mi lamento ugualmente: fa il suo dovere e questo è quello che conta.
