Sink drainer/strainer I have a 4 year old kitchen sink, I have fought with the sink strainer/drainer/plug that came with this sink the entire time. I do not know how many times I thought I had it fixed to fill the sink, only to come back to all the water drained out! Ugh!!!! I saw this, bought it, LOVE IT!!! It has 2 pieces, the drainer that is open and allows stuff to flow down the drain or place the basket inside the drainer and you can allow water to flow down the drain and the basket catches food, debris so it does not clog your drain. The best thing, just easily push down the center button and it stops all water from exiting your sink, so easy, so tight and no slowly leaking water out of the sink. Easily push the button again and it pops open to drain. If you are ready to toss your sink out the kitchen door or just keep your kids from dumping food down the drain to get clogged, this is what you need!!! Quality made, metal and rubber, durable and yes!! I love it! Such a small thing, but oh how non-frustrating this is!! Make sure and measure your current sink drain, for fit.

I wouldn't normally write a review for something as trivial as a sink drainer, but I love this drainer! It collects all the little bits of food left on plates washed in the sink but gives them up easily when I shake it out over the trash can. Other drainers hold onto some of the bits and require manually wiping out by hand all the slimy, sticky blobs that used to be food and are now just gross refuse. They even require wiping with a paper towal or rinsing upside down in the sink, which defeats their very purpose. This one just lets the gunk fall off when turned upside down and shaken abruptly down and up and a little sideways. Then the basket goes easily back into the drainer housing in the sink drain, ready to collect the next batch of blobs. Simple, but effective.

Looks great works perfect. I bought my first one a couple weeks ago and liked it so much. I ordered a second one for my other sink and a third one for my friend to try. I took it over to her house today and she loves it too, she has some hand issues that sometimes prevent her from doing things, but she has no problem working with this. Great item I just wish there was a way to order more of the Little. Insert Basket for replacements if this one’s gets lost accidentally..

And when released, the sink drains quickly and efficiently. -Easy to use. Simple to assemble, remove, and empty after use. -Secure fit. The silicone seal holds it firmly in place and fits snugly in the drain opening. -Durable materials. Stainless steel construction with no rusting or discoloration over time. -No odor retention. Even with daily use, it doesn’t hold onto smells like some strainers do. ⚠️ What to be aware of: -Silicone ring can trap buildup. This is the biggest downside. The seal area is prone to collecting grime and can develop mold over time. -Requires replacement eventually. I purchased my first one in early July 2025 and had to replace it by the end of March 2026 due to buildup in the silicone ring - even with regular cleaning. -Can stick together. The main unit can sometimes seal very tightly to the sink, making them difficult to separate without using a thin tool. ⭐ Tips: -Make sure your sink drain opening matches this style and size (I included photos with measurements for reference). -Rinse and dry the silicone ring as much as possible to help slow buildup. -Don’t wait too long to deep clean the seal area - it’s the first place issues will start. Final thoughts: This is a low-effort, high-function sink strainer that performs really well in everyday use. It keeps food contained, the sink clean, and the stopper feature works exactly as expected.
