I bought a pair of these to complete my Dayton budget speaker suite. My Denon AVR-1700H is a 7.2 A/V receiver and pairs extremely well with this suite of speakers. These towers are crystal clear and the mids and highs are represented nicely. The bass presence is definitely there and much more than the Sony's these are replacing. Fabulous speakers for the sub-300 dollar price. I would definitely recommend Dayton Audio equipment to anybody. The price to performance this suite brings is truly hard to beat.

Initial Impression. Arrived this afternoon and I began the unpacking. Wow! The protection from double boxing and copious amounts of foam was impressive. The finish of the wood style is simply beautiful, very good quality. I used 12 gauge wire and banana plugs to hook them up and switched them on. My Pioneer receiver has an A/B switch and I have some quality Micca Bookshelf speakers in the A position. So switching to B and the Daytons was a pleasant experience with a great Dave Brubeck "Time Out" LP. The bass was a a little too pronounced so I backed it off. I'm both amazed and happy with how clear and bright they sound. The instruction manual says it may take 30+ hours to break everything in. If the result is better than my first impression, I'm gonna charge people admission to listen to my system!! If anything changes + or - I'll report again. In the meantime, do yourself a favor and get some!

These speakers are just OK, nothing special. They sound OK. They are not crisp and punchy speakers. They function well and are solidly built and are OK for the money. I replaced high end vintage JBL's with these so I guess I was spoiled. But for the money these speakers I would consider a good purchase. They were packed well for shipping and sustained no damage what so ever.

I bought these plus a wiim ultra streamer and a Fosi bt20a pro in lieu of a sound bar for my TV... Pretty happy with these choices... The speakers really opened up after using the wiim room eq... Big difference... Terrific TV sound and music using the streamer is pretty good too... Plus I really like the looks of the T65 with the lighter wood wrap... Matches my TV stand well...

I have been building a little system for my record player. I have had many high end speakers over the years, Cerwins, Infinity, Polk etc. But, Im building this system on a budget…and honestly was thinking I wouldn’t get much for $200 a pair, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and sound. The bass response is definitely fighting above it’s weight, in other words they thump pretty good for 6”. Do they sound as good as my VS80 Cerwins on my main system? No…but those were 2 bills a piece 30 years ago. I coupled them with 2 CV bookshelf speakers, and it sounds great when I’m spinning vinyl and even better on bluetooth . I have a graphic equalizer on the way and that will allow me to dial the system in completely. I don’t think you can beat these speakers for the money. They came in a big box with plenty of protection. I used banana clips on the speaker wires, super easy to hook/unhook. Overall, are they audiophile worty? …of course not, but I am super happy with the value for the money
