Better looking than a bulb setup
Takes a little bit to warm up on initial startup, but it's perfect for a 10g terrarium. Bought two because of this. Temperature stays consistent if room temp stays consistent.

Don’t put off much heat.
Small, don’t really do much for heat. Had it on all day and my take is still cold. Might work for a really small tank.

Not sufficient for 4x2x2 reptile enclosures!!!
Heat panel works, but is not a sufficient heat source for a 4x2x2 reptile enclosure. It doesn’t keep temperature without several other bulbs helping to maintain heat and at night when other bulbs turn off it nearly froze my snake. Please go with a different radiant heating panel if you need nighttime temperatures above the low 70’s!!!

Just what i needed in a pinch
I love it, just what I need. First this is not an infrared radiant heat panel that heat’s surrounding surfaces!, this is a mini heater. It heats up some metal wires and blows a fan to push the heat. It makes a lil buzzing noise too. My girls tank has pvc panels on top of the mesh to keep moisture in and this will help give some airflow in her tank with some extra heat. She has an under tank heat pad but I think this will help increase her ambient heat temps. The air flow is very light, I have to lic my finger then put it under the panel to feel anything. It’s been plugged in for only a few minutes and it already has one quarter all warmed up, I have a 2x2x4. I’m going to keep an eye on it, it may end up being finicky with having to check the temp often and manually open the tank and switch it off. Im not sure if it will hold up but I hope so, it makes for a perfect setup for now. It just is basically the quality of a hand fan with some hot wires.

Great, but not for everyone
I like it. I would say it's a little big/powerful for my 40 gallon breeder tank, however I only needed the temps bumped a couple degrees. This would be fantastic for a high-heat animal like a bearded dragon, as even on medium settings it can get up to 85 with no issues. Max settings almost dried out my plants! If you live in a colder area, you'll want this. It ups the ambient temperature like a charm. There are more expensive ones online that I'm sure are even better (and come in more sizes), but I went with this one for the price ad the fact that it's adjustable right on the device. Works great for me at the minimum setting.

Mounts easily on top or inside enclosure. Through the screen it will fit if you ream the holes.
So far so good! Works excellent and not to loud UPDATED REVIEW 6 MONTHS LATER. Mine works perfectly for 67 gallon pvc reptizoo enclosure. Keeps my green tree python temps right where I need them in the low 80s with humidity holdimg 75/85% (also have a mister) I had no odors when startup up or now. I have another in a 120 gallon enclosure for ball python and it didnt work as well but kept near 80°. It is only 30 watts. There is a cheaper brand that is 60 watts for around same price that also works very well. Both units are almost identical, yes they look like cheap plastic but feels sturdy. I have a total of 3 and have ine in the way.

Do NOT buy
I didnt listen to the other reviews and I regret it. The chemical smell wasnt too bad at first but really started to get stronger after 5 minutes of it running. It did not get warm enough to do anything and it feels like a plastic toy you'd get from 5 below. Theres small 1mm holes on the underside of the panel for heat, which isn't working anyway. The fan is loud and sounds terrible. Please dont buy this, use a ceramic or spend extra on a good quality one like im about to do.

Cheap and dinky
the unit is cheaply made - light, and generally 'cheap' feeling. That said, I wouldn't use it for a reptile anyway. When the unit is heating, it puts off a tremendous amount of 'hot plastic' smells, which I wouldn't expose a pet in an enclosed environment to. The heat it puts off is passable for a very small enclosure, and the amount of air is pushes is basically none. I wasn't even sure it had a fan in it. I purchased it to use as a secondary heating element for the 'cool' side of my tank, instead it's going in the trash. I unfortunately discovered how bad this is after the return window.
