I mounted this Renogy solar panel to the top of my Generac 22KW whole house generator. It is a perfect size for the top of this generator. The panel is connected to my EcoFlow River 3 Plus. The EcoFlow powers my communication equipment, including my cable modem, network and WiFi hardware, with the EcoFlow keeping that hardware powered for the short periods when power is lost, working as a UPS. The Renogy 100w solar panel charges the EcoFlow when it gets enough sunlight, with the EcoFlow automatically switching from wall power to 100% solar when it receives enough sunlight with the batteries charging sufficiently to run the communication equipment for about 5 hours after sunset, when the EcoFlow will automatically switch back to wall power. What I love is this combination of the Renogy 100w solar panel, EcoFlow River 3, and communication equipment all working together seamlessly. The Renogy solar panel is well built, and easy to mount with aluminum brackets. The price is good, the packing was good, and the Amazon driver was great with the delivery. My array placement isn’t ideal, with the array getting full sun for only half of the day, the balance being shadowed. For my setup, my communication equipment is 100% powered by the sun for 1/3 of the day, the balance being wall power. If the array was positioned better, I would get more solar output, but I’m very happy with the results.

Pair this with Renogys charge controllers for heavy equipment and save your batteries. This is our second Renogy set up for batteries on heavy equipment. Works in all weather and maintains batteries perfectly. Snow is the only issue, you have to keep snow off the solar panel. The solar panel charges well even in winter and cloudy days. We work in forested environments where there is little direct sun. Still works very well. Easy to install and solid. First one we installed in a rough terrain forklift that is older. It has some electrical leaks, this panel and a renogy controller keeps it ready to start year round in New England winters. If you’re using this on heavy equipment or trucks to keep the batteries in good shape, you’ll be making a good choice. Keeps battery costs down and you can put away your jumper cables.

My USAutomatics Ranger HD system has always had issues with lead-acid batteries corroding. Yes, i used dialectric grease, I've swapped batteries, i've put new connectors on it yadda yadda yadda. it always corrodes (even stainless connectors corroded behind the connector on the wire itself. Anyway, to solve this i purchased a smaller LiFePO battery and what do you know.. the corrosion disappeared; however, the solar unit was not setup for this type of battery. it worked, but my system ended up not making it through the night each night. So each morning, we're pulling the pin to manually open the gate. First, the system controller wasn't setup for a LiFePO battery.. the solar panel i had was significantly undersized, and the battery was significantly undersized. Well, i ended up with a custom solar charging system that has worked wonders. This panel is big... way, WAY bigger than the old one, but it generates some serious juice. 100W and 12/24V with plenty of amps (5+) to boot. a little custom engineering, and i have it securely attached to my fence and charging away. The N-Type connectors, don't sleep on those. excellent snap-in connectors that make it easy to tie in and keep the wires sorted. While it does not specify 24v in the description, my controller is reporting 24V incoming from this thing. I couldn't be happier with this unit.

I use this with my everfrost 2 and it works amazing. I have seen it at 93watts in perfect sun.

I like this panel it's pretty good.. puts out about almost 90 Watts which is very good.. and I like the fact that it's smaller than the other vRenergy 100 w I have
