Perfection for a reasonable price for upper end quality sound, fit and design.
So good we bought 2 sets. My son has the original Dyson headphones with the air filter mask in a brilliant purple/dark blue - we may be the only household with that set plus 2 of the current headphones here. We are extraordinarily surprised by the incredible sound quality and diversity in overall design compared to much more expensive headphones. We have an Apple Pro headset, Bose, Sony and several other high end headphones. In overall comparison the Dyson on Trac are superior with the Apple coming in second. Why? For the audiophile in you, I along with my 26 year old super audiophile son have tested all of the somewhat reasonably priced higher end headphones. These will surprise most with the comfort upon placing them on and fitting them as they adjust in the band in a very well built solid aluminum frame that ingeniously holds two batteries that stay charged for well over an entire day. The ear cups are soft yet firm ovals that enclose the ears fully and the noise canceling is very good. I’d compare them in this canceling to the Sony and Apple high end headphones which block out all normal sounds- also, we have a cockatoo and if you’ve ever been exposed to the insanely loud shrieks they can easily wake the dead. When the bird shrieks at his loudest, nothing blocks it completely however these ALMOST keep the scream blocked. I can hear him slightly which is actually good as these avian friends are most excellent warning systems. He alerts us if anyone approaches the house or if animals appear at our glass doors. So, noise blocking is very good- on flights, there is zero outside sound cutting through. A+ for noise cancellation. Comfort is an A as well- I have difficulty with all headphones as my head is small. I could actually use extra padding on these as they are slightly loose but fit my son perfectly. As of yet, only the Sony headphones come as close as the Dysons in fit. These expand and contract easily but I wish there was perhaps an extra piece I could attach to keep them on more firmly when moving about. This is not an issue for most of the population but for me, I’d love a clip on piece to add a bit of snugness. Now finally, sound depth and quality. Plus connectivity. We have Apple TVs and phones. Plus homepods- Apple only allows Apple products to connect if you use more than one headphone set at a time. I can and do use my Dysons to connect with Apple TV and phone but Apple will not allow a second connection at all - we have to use 2 Apple headphones to watch a film together - can’t use a Sony with Apple pro to connect. It must be two (and no more than two) Apple AirPods or Apple headphones - not a Dyson and an Apple. Ridiculous. So if you are in an Apple environment, you may want to use their headphones - I refuse to buy two sets of their headphones but I have AirPods so my son can use the AirPod pro headset- it’s like Apple is punishing us by daring to own a different brand. So that’s a tiny issue and certainly not Dyson’s fault. I prefer the sound of the Dyson’s over all other headphones. Every single part of the stereo sound remains “crisp” the bass is true to how much or how little you personally prefer as it can be modified in the equalizer app - high end is just beautiful and voices remain clear while midranges are exactly what they are designed to be- like describing a very good wine, they are rich and balanced. The look is beautiful. I have the dark blue band with copper covers and dark deep blue foam covers. A stunning color combo. I have a yellow set of ear pads too that add a different look. Lots of combinations are available. The olive green with silver band looks super! These are underpriced for Dyson quality and their attention to detail. I highly recommend them. They charge quickly also and use a c to c cable that is provided with purchase.

Must have, even over amazing competition
Amazing headphones. I would say there aren't many that have more high end, hifi, and Bluetooth headphones than me. I am not going to get technical, this is for the average user. I have 2 pair of these and 4 covers, 5 different pads. The way they are designed with the battery in the headband is brilliant (suprise, its Dyson). The battery life is up there with the best. It's not the best, but way above average. The sound is fantastic, crank them up and just enjoy! I feel its very well balanced, plenty of bass and crisp highs. With over 100 pairs of headphones and Bluetooth from Sony original 1000 and v4, B&w, B&o, Bose 35, 700 and UC, Sonos and more, plus wired, but those are a different cat. I have 2k Meze that give me goosebumps lol. So, simply comparing to Bluetooth and most of the major ones, I find myself listening to these the most. I program, so they come to work with me more than anything. Best for last, the comfort!! These things can be worn for days on my head. The pads being large and extremely comfortable, make earmuffs fatigue an old word not necessary anymore. Clamp force is just perfect. I like a tighter clamp force myself, but when they are too tight, you get ear fatigue, these are either just under the border line or designed so well, it doesnt matter. Let's say, y look need to shake your head pretty hard (headache hard for me) to get them to move around. I cant recommend these enough. I only got two for the different color, really no need for the average person. I would have three if I was loaded lol. Buy them, enjoy them and you wont regret it.

Just not good enough at this price point
It’s just not “good enough”. I wanted to like these and I almost overlooked the issues and kept them anyway. But, in the end, I knew that the deficiencies would come to be more and more annoying with daily use. The biggest problem is the lack of true Bluetooth multipoint. Multipoint allows you to connect to multiple devices and switch between each, seamlessly. So, if you’re listening to a game or video on your computer and your phone rings, multipoint would stop the sound from your computer and pick up the call when you answer. With the Dyson OnTrac, you have to open the app on your phone and manually switch between devices. If you work from home, you may see how that’s a problem when switching between a Teams meeting or something and a phone call. Then there’s the app itself. It’s slow, and it basically has advertisements trying to get you to buy more Dyson products. They’re not actual adverts, but that’s pretty much what they are there for. Lastly, the connections and app combined don’t work well together. Whenever you connect a new device, you’ll need to close the app and restart it to have the new device show up. I paired and unpaired my phone five or six times before I thought to restart the app, which is when it finally appeared. These things sound minor, and honestly the product itself is so good, you may overlook them. But, they bothered me too much to keep the headphones. The sound quality is great, comfort is exceptional, and the noise cancellation is pretty good. On full cancellation, it drowns out any constant sounds. Keyboard clicking still came through, but clapping was highly muffled. Partial noise cancellation, sounds nearly the same as when noise cancellation was turned off. I was happy with how noise cancellation performed, but I’ve experienced much better from my older Bose headphones. Comfort wise, extremely comfortable, with soft earcups, and a balanced weight. And personally, I think they look great. I like the sophisticated, but kinda quirky look. I can see why the price is so heavily discounted. But in my opinion, the cost is still too high to make up for the shortcomings.

The noise cancelation is great. The sound output could be louder for my personal preference. With the update you can customize your sound in the EQ. It gives great sound, but of course it is really worth the price tag.$580.CADxxx. It's a solid build unit and if you want to stand out from the norm The price tag could be woth it for you. The play time and changeable covers are a bonus

Pesanti ma con un'ottima qualità audio equalizzabile e colori modificabili se si acquistano a parte i componenti.

Great product nothing beats the sound quality, and noise cancellation. The only challenge due to sturdy built is the weight hence not great for workouts or run because of the weight

Gran sonido, cómodos (bajo mi punto de vista) y con un diseño único...lastima que no tenga bluetooth multipunto...

It is as nice as expected. The look of the headset is very classic but also giving s vintage vibe. It goes with any looks and the mic quality is excellent. I was looking for a headset with extra large capacity in battery for my heavy daily use in listening to music and talking on phone. The sound quality is alright, I believe it suits most of the pop music but I would not recommend to compare it with Sony XM4. Sony is more like for a more professional setting but Dyson OnTrac is for everyday use. They are all good just different usage and I love both of them. I feel like Dyson OnTrac is going to last long as the cushions are replaceable, which is one of the main part of the headset that would age and crack, then cause further issues or inconvenience after a few years of usage. I believe with the replaceable cushions design, Dyson OnTrac is going to last longer than a most of the headsets on the market would and I can't wait to get more accessories for the style and the maintenance of the headset.
