It's actually the inside of my elbow, where the bicep attaches.This puts the pressure on the elbow to help stabilize it. It's what I wanted, and it actually feels real good while it is doing it. The gel on the elbow is nice on a hard surface. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall a good device for tendonitis *by C***S on March 8, 2025* Useful for tendonitis. I previously had one of the strap devices with an air pouch for tendonitis, but found it uncomfortable and hard to position properly. When I had another flare-up this winter along with some other elbow pain, I decided to look for something else. This seemed the perfect option to deal with both issues. I measured per their instructions and ordered a medium brace. When it arrived it was so tight that within 5 minutes I started feeling numbness in my hand/lower arm. I went back to Amazon and looked again, then decided to reorder this one in Large. When it finally arrived it seemed a perfect fit so I returned the medium one. The support was perfect for my problem and it helped with both the elbow pain and the tendonitis.Because the pain was round the clock, keeping me awake at night, I was wearing the brace pretty much round the clock. I noticed that after about 10 days the lower edge of the brace around the lower arm was starting to stretch out. I'd have expected stretching and wear on the upper arm where you pull it on and reposition it, but not the narrowest part of the arm that the device touches. It isn't stretched out enough to make it unwearable under long sleeve clothing, but I'm not sure I'd want to wear it with short sleeves if this crops back up later in the year. It does still help with the pain when it flares despite the stretching. Luckily it did its job and I've been able to stop wearing it for several days now. I never needed the extra strap, so I can't attest to the Velcro quality or usefulness. I didn't need it, but also didn't like the black band on the flesh colored device.I was able to machine wash it in a mesh laundry/delicates bag with cool water and normal cycle, then hang up to dry. The stretching "condenses" back after washing, but quickly stretches back out. Overall it helped me with my pain, but I expected it to last longer. When I purchased it was $14.99 and a $5 off coupon. Definitely worth what I paid. It's now $19.99 and $5 off, and at that price I'd have to think about it before purchasing a replacement that I know won't last as long as I think it should. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product with versatile positioning! *by U***O on May 26, 2025* Works great and fits well (as long as you follow size guide and measure forearm properly). Also, you CAN rotate the sleeve to position the sewn in gel pad directly over the olecranon in support of bursitis issues.
