The LaMotte kit keeps me well informed as to the water balance in my pool and this replacement chemical was received timely, correcly and, importantly, is a fresh batch with an expected expiration date.

Very expensive but needed. To bad it didn't last longer.

The LaMotte ColorQ Pro 7 is an easy, very accurate way to test pool water. I have compared it directly to the Taylor test kit and they both are excellent, match on a test basis, but the LaMotte is easier to use. What is CRITICAL, however, is to make sure the test reagents are up to date. Old reagents give very bad results. Get a new set every year. They have expiration dates right on the bottle, but it is not cost efficient to buy the bottles one at a time. Better to just get a new set each year. It's worth it.

The reagent expires three months after it was received.

Later than expected expiration date was good.

It's a bottle of chlorine reagent. The chemicals work, the dropper tip works, what more can you ask?

Works with DPD 1A and DPD 3. None of the liquids worked as supposed to.
