The keyboard I received did not have any flaws or defects, the bluetooth connected just fine so I didn't have any issues upon first use and mine did come with a charging cable. The reason I gave this keyboard 4 stars is because it is not a bad keyboard but it does not live up to the standards I had for this keyboard especially at 52 dollars. The keys use the same mechanical scissor components to keep it low profile but the keys are very thick and do not feel like the apple laptop keyboard like I'm used to and it would mess my typing up and I kept losing home row.
