Leider ist der Kompressor nach einer laufleistung von knapp 12 Stunden so laut geworden dass man sich kaum unterhalten kann. Die Kühlleistung ist gut aber die Geräuschkulisse ist furchtbar. Das verbinden der Kühlbox mit der App ist total unterirdisch man muss das ganze übers eigene WLAN mit dem vorhandenen WLAN irgendwie kombinieren nach gefühlten 5 bis 6 Stunden Versuch meine App mit der Kühlbox zu verbinden habe ich klein beigegeben. Die größte Frechheit ist dass wenn ich die Ware zurückschicken will dass nur auf meine eigene Kosten machen muss die Rückerstattung der Frachtkosten von 3,50 € ist lächerlich. Und vom Kundenservice wollen wir erst gar nicht sprechen.

This electric cooler is the best purchase I made. No more ice bags to buy for our traditional coolers. This Bodegacooler can plug into a DC, AC, or Solar power outlet. Es ist nicht sonderlich laut und wenn man es im Auto anschliesst ohne es vorzukühlen wird es sehr rasch kalt. Top!!

We ordered this cooler in May 2025 for the camping season. Our travel trailer refrigerator is not large enough to hold everything, so we needed a cooler that could act as a refrigerator and a freezer for additional space. We have had previous advertised refrigerator coolers that only lasted us for 2 years or less. They were not rated for long term use, so after much searching, we chose to purchase this Bodega cooler. We needed a cooler we could use non-stop for weeks at a time, or even a couple of months if taking a long trip. We also wanted a cooler for inside our truck during travel days. Upon receiving the Bodega we were impressed with the quality and sturdiness of the cooler. After using on our first trip of the season, we found that the left side of the cooler (the larger portion), no matter what we set the temperature to, would go much colder and worked as a freezer only. We reset the temperature on the cooler several times, but it would still operate very cold - minus 30C. I contacted Bodega Customer Service by email. They requested we send them a picture of the bottom of the cooler, the temperature control settings, and video of it in operation. They got back to us saying that they would send out a new temperature control that could easily be changed by watching a video. They also advised they did not have the part in-stock, but would send out to us once they did get stock. After waiting over one month, I followed up to find they still did not have stock. Then they asked more questions and determined they were going to send us out a new temperature control, and a main control panel. The compressor was running non-stop, and it is not supposed to apparently. So after waiting almost 4 months to receive the parts I finally was able to replace both the boards. The temperature control panel made no difference upon replacing. The main control panel though was definitely the issue. FYI - Bodega is in China, so the timeframe for getting the parts is longer for shipping purposes. I can say that if I had not had a mini set of flexible screw drivers, I would not have been able to do the replacement myself. The main control bottom screw could not be accessed with a regular small phillips screwdriver. I also had to cut the tie wrap off the wires in order to pull the panel out enough to take the two screws holding that panel onto the housing cover. I also had to add another tie wrap when completed, so the wires did not touch the compressor. Now that the parts are changed out, the cooler works as it should. I have tested it over two days, and the cooler seems to be working fine. Unfortunately camping season is over in Canada, and we won't be using our cooler until March of 2026. We are hoping it performs well up to and over the warranty period. One thing that Bodega did do was send us a $50 credit for the inconvenience of long delays to receive parts. I had wanted to return the cooler, and reorder another of the same model. I knew I got a defective cooler. They assured us that the parts they were sending would fix the issue, and it did - but it took way too long (August to November). Here's hoping it works fine going forward.
