No brainer, excellent, modern , effective de humidifier
Been using this dehumidifier for a while now, mainly to dry laundry. What do I think? I have been majorly impressed to be honest. Was hopeful as these units are quite popular in the USA. It's well built and solid. Has a carry handle to move it around. Try not to tilt it and don't use it for several hours if it has been on it's side. In my experience don't use it with a surge protector or extension lead, plug it directly into a dedicated wall socket. Noise: Noticeable whoosh of air cos it's powerful, but not unpleasant. No rattles or annoying noises, it is totally solid. Night mode is a little quieter. It's a powerful machine, it is not going to be silent. We use it in the front room and can still watch TV / Movies whilst it is on in the background. For me, no issues with the noise of this machine. Functionality: Has a really aesthetically pleasing and colourful touch display that is super clear and easy to use. I love the fact I can tell it when to automatically turn off in hours, so 1,2,3,4 hours etc, you choose. That way I can leave it on before I go to bed, safe in the knowledge it will turn off when I want it to, not remain on throughout the night, unless I want it to. Value: Super excellent price with a long warranty card. It's clear the manufacturer go out of their way to make sure you are happy with their product and know it can be returned and replaced if it develops any faults. Apperance: It looks pretty cool in my front room, not ugly at all. Modern and hi tech. Effectivess: I should finally mention I found it pretty good at drying my clothes and collecting water, no complaints with it's performance. Final tip: ALWAYS empty the de humidifer of water when not in use. Keep the container out of the unit so fresh air can get in. This helps stop the build up of bacteria.

Really good, easy to use and very effective at moisture removal, easy to remove water collection drawer and replace. Noise level acceptable.

Brilliant unit, and smaller than expected
I bought this after I moved into a terrace with an internal bathroom, and no extractor fan. The house itself seems prone to condensation, particularly in the back bedroom which doesn’t really get the sun, and gets wet to the point I can see it dripping down the walls (when I first saw it, I thought the roof was leaking, it’s that noticeable). There’s also a patch in the corner of the ceiling in the much warmer front bedroom that gets wet (again, I worried it was a roof leak). I hoped that it was just condensation hitting particularly cold parts of the ceiling coupled with the natural build-up of moisture in a house without trickle vents, and windows we aren’t opening at the moment (new home, two cats who can’t go out yet, combined with freezing weather), and we use a heated airer for our clothes. Because of the variety of issues, I wanted a bigger unit with a compressor, as I’ve read they’re more efficient. I really liked that this unit has multiple modes and there’s some flexibility within each. It’s also smaller than I thought it would be, which is brilliant, as it takes up less space, and I can just leave it out on the landing, even when it’s not on. I’m also on economy seven, so the ability to set the dehumidifier to come ON at set times is so useful and makes it much cheaper to run. I really appreciate that it has a night-time mode. This mode is quieter (although, I think maybe a little too loud to have in a bedroom when trying to sleep, and I like having noise when I’m sleeping. However, it’s a pleasant ‘white-noise’ sound), and the display panel dims, which is a thoughtful touch, and one a lot of manufacturers don’t bother with. The laundry mode was a big selling point for me, and it absolutely does its job. I also really like that it has an ‘automatic’ mode, where the machine chooses the best fan speed and intensity to work most efficiently in your space. If I run the unit during the day, I tend to use this one mode. What I purchased it for, and how it does: Laundry - Here, it makes a huge difference. I use a large DrySoon airer and drape a sheet or the cover over the top and tuck this underneath. It can get a 7kg load of thinner fabrics dry in 2, maybe 3, hours. The ceiling condensation - Again, a huge, *visible* difference. The day after it arrived, I ran the dehumidifier in the front bedroom and within a hour the damp patch on the ceiling was no longer wet to touch; in the cold back bedroom, the walls no longer drip. They’re cold when I touch them, but not wet. I’ve lived here for nearly a month at this point, and I’ve not noticed that the patches get worse when it rains, so I think (and hope) it is just condensation. This unit is working wonders for this issue. I’ve also noticed many of the houses in the same style as mine get awful window condensation each morning, so I think they’re just prone to it, which makes this dehumidifier a brilliant purchase. Bathroom - This is harder to tell. I didn’t pay much attention to the dampness in the bathroom before I bought this, but it was the internal bathroom that promoted the purchase — I knew I was going to need something for it. I tend to shower in the evening, then leave the bathroom door open on to the landing, then run the unit over night. It pulls about 1300ml out each time. Less when no-one’s showered. The bathroom doesn’t feel damp, which is good. Positioning the unit at the top of the landing seems to help catch damp rising air from downstairs, too, so I feel I’m getting a bit of a twofer. General temperature - I’ve read that the more humid the air, the colder it will feel in winter. The house is a little chilly in some areas at certain times of the day/night. I think this unit helps with that, but the big bonus is that the air it gives out (from the vent in the top) is warm. When I bought it, I didn’t know it would give off warm air (I’m unfamiliar with dehumidifiers), so this was a surprise little bonus. Decorating - Another surprise bonus, and not remotely what I bought this for, but it *really* helps speed up paint drying. It makes such a difference, I can practically see the paint dry as I’m looking at it. As I am such a deeply interesting person (🙄), I’ve started noting down how much water the dehumidifier is pulling out of the air depending in where it is, what mode it’s on and how long it was on for. I’m still at the point where it’s pretty exciting to see what it’s done overnight, so every morning I empty the tank into a jug, then feel really pleased about my purchase. (I would’ve been very disappointed to spend this much on a unit that only made a small difference). I think the most it managed was 1700ml in about 6 hours. This little workhorse regularly takes over a litre of water out of the air when I have it on night-time mode from midnight to 7am on the top of my landing. I’m stunned at how much it can get out of the air in just a few hours, and the humidity is still around the 55-60% mark. I imagine I will use it a bit less when I get to the point of being able to open my windows (warmer weather + not worrying about my cats), and doing my laundry outside, but as I don’t have an extractor fan in the kitchen, and cook throughout the year, I think it will still get plenty of use. A few things that might be useful: - This comes with a hose for continuous drainage. You do NOT have to use it. You simply don’t insert the hose, and then the water just goes into the tank, which is super easy to remove, empty, and reinsert. - It is quite heavy, and sadly the handle has a very square profile, which I find makes it uncomfortable to carry. This obviously isn’t an issue if you intend to leave it place, but I like moving it around, and the handle really bites into my hand when I carry it up and down the stairs. - It comes with an additional manufacturer’s return guarantee of 60 days, instead of 30, AND it has a three year warranty, provided with the little card you get with the instructions. - The power lead comes out of the back, and has a little rubber fastener to curl it up and keep it out of the way. - When you turn it on, it does a little judder, the instruction booklet says this is normal (just in case you don’t read the booklet before using it). The judder now makes me smile, it’s like the machine is waking up. I’m so pleased with my purchase, I’m going have to name it and stick some googly eyes to it, or something.

Really good
Really good. No damp black mould. Only downsides are the small reservoir and the noise level. Even after using the night mode setting, it still sounds loud enough to keep disturbing me throughout the night. Although, I am a light sleeper so can't really knock the product too much. As for the small reservoir, I find I'm emptying it out every second day. It does however, come with a pipe that can be fixed on and have the water filter out into a big bucket for example. I would definitely recommend this product.

Very impressive efficient dehumidifier
This dehumidifier is outstanding, I was so impressed I bought a second one. My friends bedroom has two exterior walls, and felt quite damp, bedding the lots felt damp. She had had a cough for months too. The room is small to medium, writhing 24 hours litres had come out. The bedding felt dry , it even dried and warped the bedroom door ! but the cough went and the bedroom is normal at last. It’s compact and has many functions, like auto set it to come on at different humidity levels etc . So don’t pass this one by ..

So I was looking to get a new dehumidifier for my basement as the current Hisense dehumidifier that came with the house that was built in the 1950s when we bought it was running quite a bit and was an energy hog using 540 watts when running with an average of 10.5 kWh per day. So I did a ton of research and came across this dehumidifier. As I was looking at the reviews and looking at the power specs I was thinking there's now way that this little thing that uses hard the electricity that my current dehumidifier uses is going to effectively dehumidifie my basement effectively and not just run constantly and end up using around the same amount of electricity. So after reading the reviews and being comforted by the warranty I decided to use my credit card rewards and bought the Aeocky dehumidifier and to say I was impressed with the results is an understatement. It was well packaged and the instructions and quick start guide were very good but there were some linguistic issues but that wasn't surprising considering this is a Chinese product. I start off by setting the RH% to 40% as i had with my previous dehumidifier but that was basically like setting it to continuous mode. It could net get the humidity below 47% but even when it was raining it didn't get above 50%. Despite it using only 280 watts when running i was surprised at how effective it was at keeping a modest humidity and only used 6kWh per day running 24/7. So I decided to run it on automatic mode which keeps the humidity between 50-55% which is a little higher than I wanted but now it wasn't running all the time. After running it I auto mode for a week it's been doing a fantastic job at keeping the humidity level down and it's only using 4kWh per day on average! Plus it's super quite. As you can hear in the video the loudest thing is the fan running, you can't even hear the compressor running at all. The one issue is the tank is super small and only holds about a gallon so using the continuous drain feature is pretty much required to use this unless you are able to dump it out multiple times a day depending on how humid your space is. As you can see in have it draining into the basement sink and I put the garden house attachment on to put a little bit of weight on the end so it wouldn't curl up. Would absolutely recommend this dehumidifier just on the electricity savings alone!

✅ Consigliatissimo! 5 stelle meritate.
