Perfect
Fed up with all bells and whistles phones and just wanted an easy to use good looking phone that works and this one looked like it would fit the bill. Received it next day after ordering and was impressed with it right out of the box. Shiny black case looks expensive and on flipping it open it hase nice big keys and you can see the letters for texting without putting your glasses on and a very clear screen. Camera picture quality isn`t that great at 1.3 mp but then it`s a phone, not a camera. Has the usual menu options and is very easy to navigate. Bluetooth works well and is easy to setup which you will need if your a ringtone freak as there isn`t that many to choose from installed on the phone but easy enough to add your own. Battery life seems good, lasted a week on the first charge but should inprove with a few more charges. Overall a very nice phone if you want a flip at a resonable price, recommended.

Nice phone
I was so disappointed in this phone. It was just what I was looking for my husband who is struggling with an iPhone due to illness. I tried every which way to fit the sim but it was having none of it. I tried nano sim and micro sim but there was just nowhere to slot it in and the phone kept saying no sim inserted. The diagram on the box was not at all helpful and the only video on utube was completely different on the inside to the phone I was holding in my hand. After trying all afternoon and also my son trying we gave up. It is now winging its way back to the Amazon. What a pity I had high hopes after reading reviews. Would be interested to know if anyone else has the same problem or could tell me where we went wrong.

It more or less works, with a few annoyances
This handset is simple and easy to use - it's a no fuss, back to basics type of phone. I'm only interested in using it for receiving and making calls and receiving and writing texts. It performs these tasks more or less quite well, as it should. The battery life is quite poor, but as it is an older, used model, I partly expected this, and don't mind having to charge it overnight every second night or so. Sometimes, when it is left unattended for a while, I go to use it and realise it has switched itself off - this is annoying, and could be very problematic for someone who needed to be contactable by phone all of the time. Even more annoying, the phone decides to cut out when I'm in the middle of writing texts. This is extremely annoying, as a draft of the message does not get saved and I have to begin again. It simply jams, so I can tell that I cannot save or send the message, and the phone is about to go blank, the screen then goes black, and is followed by a white screen that comes up for just a moment once or twice, before either the phone comes back to life, or it switches itself off entirely. This happens even when the battery life is at two or three bars - which is usually plenty to last several more hours, if not an entire day. I have not yet made enough/long enough calls to determine whether this is going to be a problem when I'm calling people. If it does, I will be sorely disappointed with the handset, as it will not only be frustrating for me but for the person trying to talk to me. So, the phone more or less performs the basic functions it is expected to, and I don't think I'll send it back, but it has an annoying malfunction resulting in several failed attempts to send a text and a frustrated phone user!

Brilliant phone for humans [non - geeks]
This phone has been around for nearly two years, so one might assume it is pretty useless these days, BUT, if it's a simple phone you want, but with all the main features (GPRS, Email, Internet, SMS Text, MMS picture,Bluetooth, etc), it is absolutely brilliant. Yes, it is definitely short on storage, so no good if you want to store lots of images and music files, but for ease of use, sensible size keys, very good reception,it is excellent.Screen size is not that big, so I would say Internet use will be limited. The build quality seems very good as well. I have installed with a Vodafone "Pay as you GO" SIM card and it worked first time. The Bluetooth connection worked fine with my Vista PC, so the lack of USB port doesn't matter too much. I looked for a more modern equivalent but could not find anything similar, either too simple or way too smart. My wife loves it and thinks it looks really COOL!

Unreliable piece of junk
Superficially a nice looking phone with simple menus, a clear display and nice big keys. It's later the downside starts becoming apparent. It is ridiculously hard to open in a hurry and the ring time is too short, meaning you never get to answer your calls with the phone in your pocket unless you are a wild west gunfighter or you switch your voicemail off. I normally love clamshell phones, but this one is a real ergonomic nightmare. I could live with the niggles but the real showstopper is that the phone is just unreliable. The first one I bought new from Amazon; it was only 8 months old and just switched itself off - never dropped or banged; it just wouldn't power up. (By the way, Amazon aren't interested in warranty claims - you have to deal direct with Nokia.) They tried to say it wasn't covered under the warranty but replaced it anyway. 3 months later the replacement has started losing lines on the external display, so its back to Nokia for another try at getting it fixed. If you are thinking about getting this one, don't bother - Nokia have made some good phones but this isn't one of them!

Fantastic and easy to use phone
Great Battery, Texting ,Calling, Style, Radio Free Hands free thingy b jig which I am using to listen to the radio at the moment in good quality................... *WARNING* USELESS if you want to store song/movies on. I don't even think you can even add a memory card! I can only fit on 1 mp3 lol, so not sure why it has mp3 functionality? Maybe I am missing something, but I cant find information in the manual explaining how to add memory and I looked on the net and other people have stated it's not possible. If I am wrong please somebody let me know. Still 5 starts though! A great phone for the price. Extremely happy with this purchase overall. For me the radio quality has more than made up for the lack of memory.

Good for a basic handset
I ordered this handset a few months ago on the back of the good reviews it received on amazon. I was looking for a sim free basic phone that i could use with my o2 sim card. The handset is very easy to use, looks fine for the price and has the usual text and call functions. I like the option of being able to select a favourite contact for texting. This saves time having to select the contact from your contact list. The only down side to this phone is the camera. I did not purchase the phone for this facility and would not advise anyone to buy this phone if they are planning to use it as a regular camera. The few pictures i have taken have been very grainy and dark. Overall its a great phone for the price. I recommend taking a look at it on utube too as the video clip on there shows the phone in action.

Nokia 2720 Fold - Sim-Free Mobile Phone - Sold By "e-Ranger"
Ordered this Item on January 23, 2014 - FREE POSTAGE - Delivered to me 11:am January 24, 2014 - That's FAST! I have had Two other NOKIA 2720 Folds - So I knew what to expect from a really good one. The 1st. one which I use on the ORANGE Network PAYG which my wife bought for me from CARPHONE WAREHOUSE many years ago is still in very good condition. I wanted another for the VODAPHONE Network PAYG which gives good reception in areas that ORANGE sometimes wavers - I decided to have both for this reason - If I could have bought a Dual-Sim version of the NOKIA 2720 Fold then I would have been very happy. The 2nd. NOKIA 2720 Fold Sim-Free purchased from another AMAZON Supplier was nowhere near as good as the 1st. one. The Phone was, I believe, a recycled one - because the Keys where almost useless for texting purposes. I looked again on the AMAZON site and chose the "e-Ranger" supplier who in fact was selling the item much cheaper. I decided to order one from them, the 3rd. NOKIA 2720 Fold - Not only was it delivered almost before I even ordered it but the Quality of the Keys was fantastic - I am very pleased. If it lasts as good as the 1st, one then I will be a very happy bunny. I have ordered more batteries for the NOKIA 2720 Folds - I hope the supplier is as good as "e-Ranger" for quality.

très bon téléphone
J'ai en fait payé 2 fois la livraison : une première fois prélevée par Amazon et une deuxième fois directement au livreur UPS, soit 14.25 €. Est-ce normal ?
