I love this baby food maker. A week before I ordered it, I ordered another brand, which I am not fond of. This one is smaller than the other brand (Bear). It's a better size for my use. This one is great for pureeing a small can of cat food so I can syringe feed a couple of my cats.BABY MAKER VS. VITAMIX BLENDER--PROS AND CONS. I bought the baby maker so I wouldn't have to keep using my much taller Vitamix for such a small amount of cat food. It was hard trying to get out all the puree way at the bottom of the Vitamix, a lot getting stuck around the blade assembly. Unlike the baby maker, the blade assembly of the Vitamix is not removable. So there was food I couldn't get out with the spatula. The baby maker is better (although not perfect) because the container is smaller and the blade assembly is removable. But there is still loss of food. On another note, the single speed baby maker is not nearly as powerful as the Vitamix. I have never been able to get a smooth, thin puree with a baby maker like I have with the Vitamix. If you need a super thin puree, I wouldn't pick a baby maker. I don't think they are up to the task. Still, for my purposes, I am able to syringe the baby food puree even if it's not as smooth. I've been looking at some short higher watt smoothie makers. This is a work in progress!

What a great little grinder. I use it for cat food but it would be great for grinding up my Great granddaughters food also. Don't worry I don't use it for that. It sticks to the counter with the strong suction so I place it on a coaster.

The baby blender is good for chopping some vegetables and fruits. You still have to cut them in small pieces to blend depending how well you want the puree. I had trouble placing the top on the center of the bowl. It seemed misaligned.

Great blender for start up or small batches for purées. Easy to clean.

I’ve been using this to blend food for one of my picky kitties who won’t eat chunky wet food and this does a great job of creating a very smooth texture perfect for my kitty or I imagine for baby food.

Mine was outside when a storm soaked the box so I couldn't return it, but the design is horrible. I never could get it to even turn on.

Amazing for baby puree and home made salad dressings! For only about $25 that’s perfect! It’s compact and quiet! I’ve been sending to friends too! Big fan!
