The only trick to them is that you need to roll them up to fold them into the little balls or you will rip the zippers after just a few uses. It will work for that function. I'm not sure how well they will last beyond that function as it is a thin plasticy material. My coworkers love that it folds up small into its zippered pouch if they end up not needing a bag. The zippered pouch is attached to the bag in the stupidest place and I ended up unpicking mine (it was sewn on right above the giraffe's head) so I can still use the zippered pouch but it isn't attached in such a stupid place.
