I have been using these as my kitchen scrub pads for over 25 years. I am sure they would ruin any non-stick coating instantly; but I don't have any of that, so there is no trouble there. If you are one of those hippies that never actually washes your cast iron, these won't be for you. I use cast iron to cook every day and I wash it with soap and hot water after every use. If you don't want your eggs to stick, use some oil and cover the food with a lid. Really.Super great on carbon steel kitchen knives as well.And they will remove burnt-on caramelized food in a jiffy from any cookwear.Great in the workshop too. Easily remove rust from wood planes and table saws.

This tape came recommended by a neighbor, and I bought it to secure a loose strip of trim without putting more holes in the wall. The first time I tried it, I cut a short piece with scissors and pressed the trim into place near the hallway doorway. It was easy to handle, and it has stayed put through regular use. As a retired teacher, I have had my share of classroom displays to mount, so I appreciate a fix that does not turn into a whole project. I’m glad I had it on hand when that trim started lifting.

Our old patio chairs had grime on them, so I ordered these after seeing them online, hoping to clean them up before the kids’ birthday party. The pad scrubbed well and held together through most of the job. On one stubborn spot it wore down faster than I expected, so I reached for another.

I grabbed these maroon hand pads after seeing a cleaning video while feeding my toddler lunch, because our stainless steel sink and old baking sheets were looking rough. I mostly use them on my big sheet pan that i roast veggies on a few times a week. I just soak the pan for a bit, then take one pad and scrub in small circles. The baked-on oil actually comes off without me feeling like I’m at the sink forever. They’re a good size to hold, and one pad lasts through a bunch of scrubbing sessions. Really glad I don’t have to hide that pan when guests come over now.

Good little workhorses for my home studio. I bought these for my home office corner, since I run an office during the day and I’m picky about basic supplies actually doing their job. These pads work well on the old tape gunk on my filing cabinet and the metal desk legs where I keep my sketch printer. I add a bit of cleaner and they cut through the crud fast without shredding or clogging up. One afternoon I cleaned an entire side of the cabinet between client calls and it felt great. My husband keeps swiping a few to handle light rust and grime on his tools. One rule in our house, I never touch car paint or glass with these.

The 6-by-9-inch size gives me enough to hold comfortably, and I can fold a pad over when I want a smaller scrubbing area. One evening, I took a pad to the filter while dinner was cooking. It helped lift the stubborn grime with steady scrubbing, and I was glad I had them on hand instead of putting the job off again. They’re abrasive, so I don’t use them on anything delicate or glossy without testing a small spot first.

Eggs used to glue themselves to my pan. Now I just heat the pan, add a bit of oil, throw on a lid, and later I go in with this pad. I can feel it grab all the stuck-on bits without shredding my hands. One night I totally spaced and burned a pan of caramelized onions. Like, black and crispy. I thought I’d have to soak it overnight, but I just ran hot water, grabbed this pad, and the burnt layer started coming off in a few minutes. That alone made me glad I bought them.

I first came into contact with this product about 40:years ago . It was used by a company I worked for to clean fine metallic items . Many years later when I was looking for a similar product I remembered Scotch Brite. I purchased o box for my home use ; from removing rust from metal items ( bits of bikes) to cleaning metal pots and pans either dry or in water.. p e r f e c t .Do not use on plated items.

I was using this pad in my workplace better than the green pads buying at dollar store. Its a bit expensive but it last 4X better than the green pads.
