At first, we bought this add-on because our new refrigerator ice maker (on the other side of the kitchen about 12-15 feet away) was not working but another appliance on the same dedicated filtration line (built in coffee maker) was, so we thought it was a pressure issue. After installing the pressure tank, the ice maker still did not work so we pulled the refrigerator out and the ice maker eventually kicked on...we think we had a kink in the line to the ice maker but not 100% sure as we attempted a bunch of fixes and really don't know what the issue/fix was.
