Newest 4/12 Frames Electric Honey Extractor Equipment with Protective Cover, 2nd Gen Intelligent Control Device Designed for Business and Farms

My first electric extractor. It was so much better than scraping and straining. Fit all of my frames (I run deep and medium supers). Extracted quickly and didn't damage the drawn combs. Bucket fit under the honey gate perfectly. The unit wobbles a bit but, i need to attach it to a pallet or mount it to the floor. If they had a replacement basket that would fit all deeps would be nice ( I want to start using all deep supers).

I ordered this and used it once. The second time I tried to use it, the motor just whined and didn't turn. I have tried to return it, but there is some issue with the order screen that says "your package may be lost" and doesn't have a return button. Meanwhile I have contacted Amazon twice. They said the seller would get back to me each time. The first time the seller said to return it through the Amazon return which doesn't work. The second time the seller never responded. This is the worst experience I have had with a seller.

Sturdy well built, surprisingly bigger than expected. Easy to assemble and extra screws and parts left over.

Works smoothly and quietly. Reverse speed would be great, so you dont have to flip the frames. It would also be good if the legs were slightly higher so it would fit a 5 gal bucket with the strainer. Just some possible improvements. Otherwise, I am very satisfied.

I have used the extractor this week. I was extracting deep frames. The motor had plenty of power. I do find the legs a little bit on the small side. The extractor is bolted to a 200 lb platform. There was considerable movement while using it. I still think the item is with the cost.

Finally assembled and ran. Then everything loosened up. The lids were a pain as the screws for the lid hinge are small. The motor seems powerful enough and the racks seem to be strong enough. After the first run, the motor started to loosen up. Had to disassemble and tighten down the motor screws. The problem with all the screws is they are small and none have lock washers. You would think that they would have added them given how much vibration the unit would have. I thought I had read the lid couldn't be open while the motor was running. I could open them while the unit was running. Not sure how long this thing will last. I did filter the nuts and screws out of my honey.

Garage. Should have returned it when I noticed the motor wasn't screwed on tightly. Spun 20 frames in the spring and it worked ok. Just finished 30 and the motor lost its ability to spin faster. It has just one speed now which is worthless in being able to spin honey. But not sure if I can get a new motor to salvage this purchase
