This projector is super simple to use and is pretty light weight. Comes with hdmi cable but I bought a usb-c to hdmi so I stream straight from my phone. Works well with a laptop but the convenience of a plug in from the phone helps to keep me off my phone while watching anything so that’s a plus. Comes with an adjustable built in speaker which is actually pretty loud. You can focus the lens for when you want a larger screen. We watched some Pixar movies and I have to say, solid quality and contrast. It doesn’t look pixilated like other projectors. I do recommend complete darkness when viewing for optimal experience. It doesn’t look pixilated also come with the capability to use a tripod. It’s not going to be imax high def or whatever the theaters got going on, but it’s definitely worth the price. Small, lightweight, plug and play.

This projector delivers in its promise and is above the rest at the same price point. I'm in a bit of a projector phase and I have tried other models for different areas of the home. I saw a lot of the cylindrical ones as a viable option for wanting something as decoration for the studio. The difference is this one has actual 1920x 1080 resolution as opposed to the 720 ones at the same price, the size is super compact, and the fan isnt loud. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a projector this isnt just decoration anymore you can comfortably watch anything on it. 5/5

The AuKing projector seems to be of good quality. It is small, easy to use and the picture is good. The sound is okay, but I suggest an external speaker. I literally had it up and a video playing just one minute after I took it out of the box using HDMI to my laptop. I got this unit as an art projector. I project the picture I am painting on to a canvas and next to the canvas I am painting on. This way, both pictures are the same size. It saves me a ton of time, as I often have to correct sizes and positions of things when looking at smaller pictures. Overall, this unit is really nice, easy to use, and the price is perfect too. You can also use this to project web pages and photos too. I like that! I also ordered this because it has a tripod mount, which makes it easier to manipulate and position so I can get both pictures the same size.

I can not get over how bad the sound is that comes out of the headphone jack. The sound always runs through their two band built in EQ, and even with the bass boosted the low sub bass frequencies are all filtered out. My thought is, they do this so sound can be played through the tiny inbuilt speakers without distortion, but what about people who hook these up to a sound system as I do? Running the filtering while the speakers are active is smart, running it when the line out is connected is lazy design. I want BASS with my movies please! There are good things about this projector but the sound is a deal breaker and I will not be writing about them.

This is the 2nd projector I bought recently. I didn't get the other one from Amazon. Lesson learned. I never could get it to link. This was easy to get up and running. My whole wall is my TV now. It's so wonderful. I hooked up some surround sound and plugged in my Firestick. I can do everything on it. Surf the web, crank up some Spotify, all that. Couple external picture adjustments and more in the settings. Phone Bluetoothed right to it. Picture is so much better If you don't keep the lights dimmed or not directly pointed at the picture. Totally worth what I paid.

Let's be honest, if you're expecting a $65 off-brand projector to be cinema quality sharp and bright enough to easily watch in a room with the lights on you're not being realistic in the slightest. So what is this little unit? Well, it's a fantastic "movie night" projector for a gathering of family and friends at an amazing price, but you'll need to make sure you have a very dark room (or it's very dark outside if you're having an outdoor viewing party) and you'll also need to not be a pixel snob, walking up to the screen and pointing out "eww, I can see the pixels". Yeah, you can see the pixels on ANYTHING if you get close enough. Okay, so the description says 1080p right? Yeah, well that means it can PLAY 1080p content from a microSD card or USB drive, it does NOT mean that the internal LCD is 1920x1080 pixels in resolution. Does that mean that it's not worth the price? Absolutely it is. I dare you to try to find a projector with an ACTUAL 1080p LCD for less than $300 (at the very low end). What it means is that you'll need to chill out and accept that your little $65 projector is not going to be as sharp as the ones at the movie theater. Did you really think it would be?? I don't know about you but I always look forward to getting movies on bluray after I've seen them in the theater because even the theater ones (which costs TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars) are nowhere near as sharp as a bluray on a decent LED television, but you know what makes it cool? watching it on a HUGE screen! So if you pick this little thing up you can also grab a $20 projector screen here on Amazon and have your very own home cinema for well under a hundred bucks. This thing is easy to use, reliable, sharp (for the resolution it's capable of), and plenty bright enough in a dark room. PROS: - cheap - long life LED bulb prevents having to purchase super expensive halogen bulbs - tiny and easy to carry - has a tripod 1/4" thread on the bottom for easy mounting - has microSD, USB, VGA, HDMI, etc... - USB will power a Chromecast, so you can just plug into USB and HDMI and have a streaming home cinema - remote works well - goes from power on to ready in well under 10 seconds flat CONS: - you won't be watching it in a bright room, the darker the better - 800x480 resolution (just don't be a pixel snob) - manual is in chinglish and very sparse (but use your brain and figure it out, it's easy)
