I bought this Morphy Richards kettle after reading a lot of reviews and looking at a wide range of options. I didn’t want to spend a fortune, but I also didn’t want something cheap and poor quality. I opted for this one through Amazon Warehouse and saved around 50–60% off the recommended retail price. As expected, it arrived with a damaged box, but that didn’t matter to me as the box was going straight in the bin. The kettle itself was absolutely perfect — not a single mark or dent. It was fully packaged with all protective plastics still attached, including the safety cover on the plug, and it was clear it had never been used. The build quality is excellent. The kettle looks far more expensive than it is, with a black finish that’s matte on the bottom and glossy on the top. It doesn’t have that cheap, plasticky appearance at all. The lid is a pull-off rather than a pop-top lever, which might be slightly fiddly for some, but it fits securely with a rubber seal and doesn’t let steam escape. It’s also easy to remove and replace, even for someone with limited hand mobility. Boil time is around 90 seconds for 3 cup bool, which I’m very happy with. It’s not completely silent, but it’s quieter than my previous kettle and the noise level is perfectly acceptable. We use a kettle a lot in this house (around 20 times a day), and so far after several uses it’s performing very well. The inside is smooth and easy to clean, and it comes with a removable limescale filter that can be cleaned or descaled — important for us as we live in a hard water area. Overall, for the price I paid, this kettle is a solid 10 out of 10 so far. If it continues to perform like this over time, I’ll be extremely happy with it. It is not heavy and ot pours smooth.

I bought this kettle because of its design and the black colour. So easy to use and the lid lifts off nicely. Boils quite quickly with no horrible smell and has a light come on the side switch and doesn’t sound noisy either. There are indicators for choosing what level of water you require. The base is very sturdy with the lead that comes from underneath it and very easy to plug in. I love the handle that you can grip with either hand. Overall it’s super awesome looking and great value for money.

Kettle looks really good but colour is not right for our kitchen. The packaging was also damaged.

Love this Kettle second one Ive owned, only down fall came with the UK plug just had it changed over from my sparky in NZ always get compliments on how nice it is & where did I buy it..

قمت بشراء هذا المنتج لمعرفتي بمدى جودة منتجات Morphy Richards ولكن الحقيقة ان المنتج لم ينال رضاي ولا اوصي بشراءه خصوصا لمن يبحث عن غلاية سريعة العمل وسهلة. الغلاية فخمة الصناعة وثقيلة، ولكنها غير سهلة الاستخدام، استغرَقَت وقت أطول من المتوقع لتغلي 1.5L من الماء وأهم نقطة ان الغلاية لا توجد بها ميزة الايقاف التلقائي عند وصول الماء لدرجة الغليان! لقد صُدمت الحقيقة
