At first I didn’t know what to expect, or even if I would see any difference. Now I can’t squeeze my toes in a normal shoe anymore and it has only been a month since I’ve started wearing these. When you first wear them you really notice the squishiness of the sole, but you get used to it pretty quick. I’ve combined these with toe socks, and they feel so comfortable. I’ve been switching between these and some vivobarefoot shoes, and they both have their merits. I’m glad ALTRA makes at least one model of their shoes in full black. I can’t understand why they can’t have a black version for all their shoes. This is my only pet peeve about ALTRA shoes in general. Other than that I can’t find any fault in these.
