This is an excellent item. Living in a semi dry climate, the evaporator air cooler works well, bringing in a slightly moist, cool air stream. It is sufficient enough to keep air conditioning off until it is absolutely necessary. On the patio, it serves to provide coolness while sitting or tidying up. During the night I can use this to provide slightly moist , cool air.

This item does not cool at all. I tried this in a low humidity situation (less than 20%) and to my surprise, it did not work at all. After some time it does raise the humidity, so this can work as an inefficient room humidifier. The wattage being 65. The water pump is small, like that used in an automatic pet water bowel. This item looks like an item made to look like a functional Evaporative Air cooler, but is no more than a child's toy. I would return, but the hassle makes it a bother for an elderly person. What a burn.

Worked well at first but unfortunately it stopped working after a month.

I’ve had mine for over a year now. We have an add on room and no air goes to it and there was no windows in the room to put a window unit. Takes like 30 minutes to an hour to get it descently cool. Still works great!!!! I would buy again! The sound of the water running through it is sooooo relaxing!!!!!

Thought this would help cool down my 102 degree garage. No joy, but to be fair, I think anything short of a high btu AC unit would be a waste of time. Plan on using this in the bedroom during power outages with my solar generator

It does make cold air. The manual is terrible and the remote is not the one pictured so I have no idea how to change the battery. Or is light and small and for times when the AC breaks in my building/ it helps you survive.

Not sure what climate this thing is “supposed” to work in, but definitely not hot ones. Did not cool at all, I guess it was wishful thinking a fan blowing air through some ice water would really work lol.
