These are by far the most comfortable pair of hiking boots I have ever worn. There was zero break in time. They were fantastic from the time they came out of the box. I love the black! The wide toe bed is something that is a game changer! I want them in different colors now.😂

Climbed a 14er in Colorado with these. Worked great on the DeCaLiBron loop. Their struggle was on descending scree, but my toes didn't pinch, so that's a solid win. Solid grip while hopping wet rocks. They don't breath great, but the one time I toe stepped into a creek, they didn't dump water onto my toes. I wore these through the airport, and they trucked on great.

I've worn many more expensive highly rated hiking style shoes and boots. Merrell seems to have found the secret to design, feel, durability and fit. Don't waste more $$ on the other brands that will sit in the closet trust me I've wasted enough $$ for all of us.
