The glass is of very good thickness, making it feel substantial and not fragile. I bought it to cover larger baked items without banging into their sides and damaging them. Am happy with the size and straight sides of this piece. I don’t store the dome but instead keep it on the counter on a decorative platter so it brightens the kitchen even when there’s no baked goods inside. The dome seals well for freshness. Very functional, sturdy, pretty item.

I bought this as a shorter dome to use with a glass cake stand I purchased. The stand came with a very tall dome for tall cakes (well, sort of, I'll explain in a moment), and I thought it would be nice to have a normal sized dome for shorter cakes, and other baked goods. This is very attractive. Size is spot on. It was packed really well inside the item's box, and it arrived intact, unlike the Household Essentials KROSNO Handmade June Covered Cake Stand. Both the original order, and the replacement, arrived smashed to smithereens due to lousy product packing and poor packaging by Amazon. Both the Krosno and this one arrived today. It was nice to have this item not be smashed on arrival. I feel like the price is pretty good, and the quality is good, given that it was packed with care, etc. It will server me, and my baked goods, nicely.

This is perfection! I love that the sides don't slope too much, stays clear of the cake! The dome fits my Fiesta pedestal cake plate perfectly! It is heavy and sturdy and arrived packed well, no damage. Great quality, no bubbles in the glass that others have reported. So glad I ordered this and am considering getting another one! It is a great value!

It was packaged well. It's a good, solid glass dome for desserts while still being light enough to maneuver. It is tall enough to easily fit a double layer cake under it. I would definitely recommend.

This glass cake dome is beautiful and well-made. No imperfections and it arrived intact. But it turned out to be too large for my cake stand. I tried it out on various other cake plates, but decided to return it because of its size. It was going to take up too much space to store. It’s also heavy.

I have been looking long and hard for a tall glass cake dome, without the cake plate, at a reasonable price. This one checks all the boxes. I am a woodworker and a baker. As gifts, I like to make wooden cake plates, complete with glass dome, and include the cake. The plate pictured here is made of cherry and finished with tung oil that I made for a charity auction. I baked a multi-layer coconut cake to be auctioned with it. Ordinary domes are too low for a multi-layer cake and, though plastic ones are readily available in taller sizes, they just look cheap. This one is made of glass and, even though its tall, it is not too heavy and the grip is nicely shaped so you can get a firm grip on it.

I'm very happy with the dome! It fit this dome less platter I got from SLT perfectly, and it looks very classy.

It fit perfectly onto my 12" cake stand. Glass is sturdy and I love the shape!

After a bit of looking at the options available, I decided on this cake dome and am very pleased with my choice. It arrived promptly, well packaged & in perfect condition. It's large enough, height & width-wise, for my cakes - strong, heavy glass & has a easy grip top knob.

It’s nice and exactly what we needed but arrived absolutely filthy, there’s something spilled on it and it has actual ash inside, like it was used to put out a fire or something lol. Just thought you should know.

Glass is thick and clear and the handle is easy to pull the lid. I am very satisfied.
