Audio-Visual Direct Magnetic Glass Whiteboard, 45" x 30", White

In searching for a whiteboard to help drag myself through nursing school, I ran across Audio Visual Direct's product. I purchased the largest (8'x4') size and as everyone else has mentioned, it was very easy to install. I will comment that the template sheet was slightly misshapen so make note of which sides are 'true' when marking the holes. Additionally, I didn't trust the screws and drywall anchors to hold the weight of the board, so I broke out the stud finder and swapped some 3 inch T25 construction screws. (The only reason for the 4/5 star rating for adhesion is my internal fear of a 8'x4' sheet of glass/metal being held by 6 drywall anchors; find the studs and sleep at night.) The board is nicer than I imagined and I would say higher quality than the Quartet ones I've seen (and without the cheesy brand name slapped on it for marketing). Worth the premium price in my opinion. A 'you get what you pay for' scenario. As mentioned in the description, only the strong neodymium magnets will work since the glass is thick. I have some markers with magnets on them that will not stick to the board. Not an issue really, but just keep this in mind before you buy the 25 pack of amazon basic magnets with high hopes of using them in conjunction with the AVD board. Board looks very sophisticated and is easy to clean. No unsightly marker smudges. The only issue I had with the whiteboard was due to shipping and seemingly an issue regarding my address being in a rural setting (Wyoming), Amazon's choice of package handlers, and the short staffing of the shipping industry. The "buy in the next 2 hours and get it by ......" promises on Amazon serve as clickbait. At the time it said something like "it'll arrive in 4 days." This turned into 2 weeks while the order was fulfilled. Then the delivery company seemingly misplaced the package, and after numerous calls to CEVA and Amazon, it came 3 weeks after the expected 2 week delivery date. While I don't regret purchasing the board, I will buy directly from Audio Visual Direct in the future. (I think the $5 lower price on Amazon suckered me in.) When I called the company directly regarding the issue they were very accommodating and even offered to refund the purchase and ship a new board using their preferred FedEx route. Great product from a great company! Would buy again, but I'm out of wall space :)

So after reading almost every review, I decided to buy this board. I opted for the standard one since my office walls are painted light blue so the green tint mentioned won't phase me. 1st board came and was completely shattered. It was so bad that the delivery driver got off the truck and told me "I don't think you should accept this delivery", the box could literally bend in half. I refused delivery and got a refund... I was quite disappointed. After getting my office together, it still didn't feel complete so I went out on a limb and purchased this board a second time. To tell you I was a nervous wreck about the shipping would be an understatement. I just knew it would be broken again. I got it yesterday (a day early) and I met the delivery person outside when he was unloading it, to ensure I checked the package. Happy to report, my board was not broken, and it is beautiful! My teenage daughters and I mounted it on the wall yesterday. I am so happy with the results! My board is 4x3, it weighs about 35lbs, it is definitely a 2 man lift. The green tint looks cool against my blue walls, it looks like the wall color is faintly coming through the glass. The quality is impeccable although I see a bit of shadowing from the dry erase markers (I use EXPO brand). The magnets are super strong and holds well on the glass. I got 5 magnets in the box. Mounting: After reading all the reviews and Q&A I was a nervous wreck mounting this. We chose not to trace the holes on the cardboard before mounting. Instead, my daughter and I held the board to the wall, my youngest daughter ensured it was level and used a sharpie to place dots on the wall where we needed to drill. This worked out well for us. I literally only hit 1 stud in 1 corner, the rest of the board is mounted to drywall. I was hesitant about using the hardware in the package, but opted to try it and I am very happy I did. The hardware received with the board worked really well and the board is very secure to the wall. I used a small drill bit to create a starter hole, and tapped the plastic drywall hangars into the holes before attaching the metal cylindrical part. Once the basic hardware is up ...ensure one plastic washer is on the back part of the mounting hardware and save the other plastic washer for the front. The plastic washer is the additional depth needed to ensure that the board doesn't bow out when the board is mounted. Place the foam strips at the back of the board and mount it. The silver cylinder and 1 washer combined is the EXACT width of the foam strips so if your board bows out, it could be due to the washer placement. It took us 30 minuted start to finish to get this up. My board sit's flat, the foam strips are flush against the wall, the board is secure and sturdy. I will definitely order this board again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!! Suggestion for manufacturer: It would be nice to get an eraser with the board so we don't have to buy one separately.

Audio-Visual Direct Magnetic White Glass Dry-Erase Board Set - 36 x 72 Inches First impressions... WOW. Install was a breeze, use two people if you can, but can be done with just one person. The only thing I did different from the directions, is install the foam backing strips while I have it on the template marking the holes. Other than that pretty straight forward. How does it look? It is super professional and a “whiteboard I’m not ashamed of”, let’s face it, white boards are tacky- this is not and looks like it cost a small fortune, in reality it didn’t much (if any) more - worth it! How does it perform? Perform great, easy to write, erases clean and the magnets worked better than expected, based on the negative reviews. I’ve included a picture, using the included magnets, how many sheets of paper a single can hold... spoiler alert, one magnet can easily hold 10 pieces of standard printer paper at one time, when I stacked up 15 sheets I then needed two. Maybe if you don’t buy the magnets that are made of this board it can give you problems, so don’t do that, but honestly this exceeded my expectations! Looks great, easy install (recommend two people for ease), use the recommended markers, eraser and magnets and this performs like a champ and is the best looking “whiteboard” I’ve ever owned. 5-Stars and if I run into issues in the near future I’ll update the review, until then - strong buy.

Beautiful board, very good quality! I do however highly recommend investing in heavy duty wall anchors because the weight of the board is honestly too much for the ones they come with. I ended up having to take down the board after a couple weeks because I was noticing the silver wall mounts on the corners were leaning down and separating from the wall. So save yourself the hassle and do it right the first time. Other than that it’s a great white board and has a ton of space to write on!

I love this glass white-board. The magnetic quality is fantastic--the magnetics that come with it are strong enough to hold multiple papers and the magnetic eraser I have holds fast as well. It's beautiful. Large. My room looks better with it in it. After less than two months, though, I noticed a hairline crack. The usual "return window" for Amazon had expired, but after some digging I found the company's customer service number. They were surprisingly easy to work with. I'm very pleased, so far, with that interaction. They are sending a replacement; though it hasn't yet arrived, I'm confident it will and have reason to hope that the replacement will work better (a friend of mine has the exact same board and has never had any trouble with it).

My wife and I were looking for a board that was of high quality and had an easy installation process. Based on the reviews of this product, it definitely had the quality and seemed to have a simple installation process. However, upon opening the product's box, the cut outs for the holes were not aligned with each other. I ended up putting the board up and taking it down multiple times, making numerous holes in my wall just to get it to fit even after making two different templates that were fails... What I would suggest for AVD to do is to create a template with pre-measured hole cut out positions according to where they are on that board. Sadly, all you will receive is the installation kit and a blank template. You're better off using painter's tape and making the template yourself at this point.

I needed a large whiteboard for my office and I was attracted to the durability and ease of cleaning of a glass board as compared to acrylic. The Audio Visual Direct whiteboard is simply stunning. The template that is provided makes installation a breeze. It took no more than 20 minutes for one person to install the board. Using the template, the drills were made in the wall exactly where needed and the board was easily hung on the first attempt. This is a very attractive product that I would also love to install in my kitchen, if I only had the wall space. I was worried that it would arrive broken due to the fragility of glass but it was intact. The packaging probably could have been a little more secure, but it made it to me without damage. I highly recommend this whiteboard, I am already happily using it.

We purchased 5 of these for work. We are thrilled with them. Clean and modern looking compared to the white board. We purchased chalk pens and they work well, just need a damp cloth to remove. We haven’t had them that long to know whether there will be “ghosting” . A little awkward to hang.

die Tafel die geliefert wurde entspricht nicht der Beschreibung. Tafel ist durchsichtig nicht weiß und hat keine Magnetfunktion, deshalb waren auch keine Magneten mit dabei. Ansonsten sieht die Tafel sehr gut aus, mit der entsprechenden Funktion hätte ich die definitiv behalten, so geht die leider wieder zurück.

Great board, a little tricky to install. The installation is not complicated, just exacting. This size board is light and easily installed by one person. I also have the complication of working with a wall that is drywall over lathe and plaster, so no install in these walls is easy. The board looks fantastic. I have used sharpie marker to divide the board into a calendar and lists. I then fill the grid in with either the expo fluorescent pens or the Quartet neon paint markers. The dry erase brush takes off the dry erase and leaves the sharpie behind. Windex removes the sharpie. I did not install the tray at the bottom as it interferes with my desk, but jury rigged it to sit at the top which works way better. The supplied magnets work great as do some rare earth magnets I had on hand. All in all I love this board, looks great, works great.

We purchased this for my home office and we decided on a glass white board would be best. This magnetic dry erase board is perfect. Great quality and a perfect addition to my office. The added magnets, eraser and marker holder are a great addition and certainly complete the set-up.

I am very happy with my choice to buy this dry-erase board; it wasn't my first choice, but when it turned out my first choice wouldn't ship to a post office box (I'm in rural Canada, and it's via Canada Post - come on!), I ordered this one. It's easy to write on and wipes totally clean. You do have to use at least a fine-point marker, as the extra fine really doesn't work. The magnets included work great, though it would be nice to have 4 instead of 2. At any rate, I liked this board so much, I gave it to my daughter as a birthday present and ordered myself the next size up!
