Great starter printer for students
I purchased this as a birthday gift for my nephew who is currently studying engineering. The price/performance for this model is very good. It has all the most important features that come with modern Core XY printer designs and of course the biggest benefit is the speed. He had no issues getting this printer up and running on his own although, however the DIY nature of these printers is definitely not for the faint of heart. Due to its open design and smaller size its not ideal for doing large scale projects or using high-strength/durability plastics like ABS, but that is the tradeoff for such an incredibly low price. Creality gets a lot of flack from elitists in the 3d printing community because of the price/quality tradeoffs, but the biggest reason I like them is because all the software is open source -- no midnight firmware updates or closed-source code -- its your machine and you can do whatever you want!

Works like a champ! Great value!
This is my third 3D printer. I have to say, it blows away the first two by leaps and bounds! It is VERY fast with the Hyper PLA from Creality, makes very clean prints and can be upgraded in the future as my needs increase. I have been printing using PLA, Hyper PLA, and PETG and have had no problems with any prints. I have not even had to use a raft for any prints yet. I have had no issues with lifting or warping. I do have it in an enclosure to minimize temperature variations. I love that it is self-leveling! My last two printers were manual leveling and a royal pain. Conclusion: I really like this printer and have so complaints at this point. I have been running it almost daily and have had no issues!

Good value and quality. Warning: check the voltage setting before startup.
The printer is a quality product with good value. However, there's a significant issue with the voltage setting that needs attention. The printer comes with a default 230V setting instead of 115V, which prevents operation in US households. This hidden voltage switch caused unnecessary complications.Initially, unaware of this setting, we requested a replacement unit - only to discover the same issue. This led to avoidable shipping and restocking costs for the seller. A simple solution would be to pre-set units destined for the US market to 115V, or at minimum, prominently highlight this requirement. This oversight likely affects other customers who may return perfectly functional units due to the same voltage configuration problem. A one-minute quality check of voltage settings during packaging could prevent customer frustration and save significant costs from unnecessary returns.

WORST COMPANY FOR 3D PRINTERS
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!I originally bought an Ender 3 S1 for my son that never worked and after spending 24 actual hours trying to calibrate it Creality support asked me if I had leveled it (which I had FIFTEEN DIFFERENT TIMES) instead of giving me anymore detailed troubleshooting (I sent them a full list of what I had done and pictures and got this reply back DAYS later). So I decided to try the K1 SE. Out of the box it was much easier to calibrate, but immediately failed on the first project, causing the filament to spill out into the entire extruder. I thought maybe it was just a defective one so I got a replacement but two months in and w have MORE issues now with the temperature sensor and right now I have a son who’s lost the love of 3D printing and a father mad he’s spent almost 800$ on 3D printers that are worth less than the filament we bought for them. STAY AWAY

Nice quality printer
Very nice printer and is easy to setup. I upgraded from a Ender 3 S1 Pro to the Creality K1 SE. The print quality is better and the K1 prints 5 times faster than the Ender 3. I only gave it a 4 star because of compatibility with other slicing software. The K1 SE and this series printers use Creality Print software. It connects by wifi which works well. Cura software doesn't support but one model K1 max. All the other softwares out there only support their own printers, and that's it. There is 3rd party software out there if you want to roll the dice. People may have a learning curve with the new software. But the printer itself works great. Happy with the upgrade.

There simply is no Better FDM printer for under 300.
The printer great, after unpacking, I powered on and followed the prompts,EasyPeasy. The setup process was awesome and straight forward, except the Firmware was downlevel so that forced a restart of the Setup process.Once finished I loaded a big print job from Creality Cloud. The Ender3 would have been close to 17 hours. Started the print job with PLA and something gave this printer a huge dose of speed. My first reaction was it reminded me of a schytzo mouse on Speed and Crack. The printhead moved faster than I could follow.Self leveled, printed from my bloody phone. The End opinion Creality has made the Ultimate FDM printer.Simply Amazing.

Perfect so Far
Easy setup perfect prints a great 3D printer definitely recommend getting the AI camera with it there's a pre-made mounting point and pre-run cable on the machine already for the camera haven't stopped printing with it since the day I hooked it out like other people said make sure you check the AC electrical switch and make sure you turn it to 115v come switch to 215v
