Do Waste Your Time
Ordered this to repro some negatives that I lost the original pictures on long ago. Got it, put the batteries in ... didn't work. Light didn't come on. I tried everything, but alas. Got a replacement item and lo & behold, this one also didn't work. The light just didn't come on. I thought I had to be doing something wrong. Nope. Followed the directions to a T. So this gets a 1 star from me.

Well made but the software is terrible
The device worked well but the software to convert the negative is not good. The negatives are a yellowy hue and not as sharp as proper negative scanners.

Decent if it works
Both arrived broken. I bought two and sent one back because it did not light at all. The other one I had to take apart and re-solder the switch so that it worked. Once I got it going, it worked fine to scan slides into pictures. But you shouldn't have to spend an hour at the workbench before you use a new product. Not a good track record on product reliability.

Good idea, bad design
Not designed for I-phone 13. The I-phone will not lay flat on the surface, the on/off switch was received broken due to a design and packaging error. I would be 90% of these sold the switch would be broken in shipping or packaging in China.
