I was impressed by the detail and quality of the parts and the assembly instructions. I would not say it was super easy to assemble and I had to take my time but was fun to build. If any 8 year old can build this kit by themselves, they need to be working at NASA today. If your vison is less than perfect like mine do yourself a favor and download the PDF so you can zoom in on the steps on your laptop. Can be hard to see in the manual. The PDF also has a link to download the mobile app for the model. I did some early testing with the electric motor to make sure the crankshafts were all working correctly. It was fun to watch the crankshafts turn and the pistons go up and down. It was a bit of a shame the crankshaft and cams were mostly covered by other parts and as another reviewer mentioned the cylinder heads are opaque instead of clear. Would have been nice to be able to see the pistons going up and down and other internals more clearly. I consider the purchase well worth the money.

This was a gift for my husband and he loved it. It was easy to assemble took him about 4hrs (with breaks). Instructions are clear, the pieces are durable and functional. Definitely worth the purchase. The motor works with 4 AAA batteries which aren’t included.

Surprised by the detail and complexity of these kids! I have put two of them together and was challenged by the builds. The number of parts is a little overwhelming at first but most of the parts are used in order if the labels on the packets but not all! One if the models had two complete sets of numbered packets of parts, so it was a little confusing but the instructions are very clear and I think anyone can follow them if you have the patience to follow them. Each step is short and easy to complete. I can't wait for my grandsons to get old enough to build these! The details and custom pieces are far better (and cheaper) than the original brand of bricks. Every time I check, Mould King had released another model with even more detail! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone!

Awesome project! Instructions were easy to follow. My son really enjoyed building it and having it run in the end. He was able to troubleshoot the areas that needed fixing.

I bought this for my father who is a motor head, he said the instructions are not very clear and there are a million tiny parts...he is still working on it.

Bought it for my husband who used to be a mechanics to keep him occupied on his days off, he’s had such a great time building it. There’s a little problem with the switch but he was able to fix it. It took him about 3-4 hours to build it. It was super detailed even our nephews love it. Would recommend buying this and starting a collection too.

Unless you are fond of frustrations, I would advise NOT to attempt to put this piece of crap together! There are NO instructions except pictorial suggestions. The pieces are NOT numbered, and the pictures are misleading! You will have to rummage thru the entire set of pieces to find the ones to put together. Update: This is by far the worse piece of junk I've ever attempted to put together. The pictorial instructions are misleading and even incorrect and/or false! There are NO WRITTEN instructions, and one has to rummage through pile of pieces to find the possibly correct next assembly point! I will repeat: Stay away from this piece of junk unless you have frustration phobia!

This was a very nice build. It is challenging, but that's what I was looking for. The instructions are clear and parts fit together properly. It was fun to see the engine come together. Probably one the most enjoyable builds I've done yet. Would defiantly recommend.

Bei diesem set kann der eigentliche Marktführer wie immer noch was lernen. Tolles Technik set. Ich habe den Motor als Geschenk gekauft, auf Nachfrage wie der Aufbau war wurde nur freudig gegrinst. Der spätere Motorlauf ist schön anzusehen und er sieht auch einfach als deko gut aus - wenn man sowas mag. Kaufempfehlung geht raus.

I bought this as a gift for my 8year old who simply can’t get enough of building this. Really happy to see him taking such interest not just into building the engine but how the components work and what it does in reality. If the manufacturer is reading this. Please design a car where we could drop this engine in. It will take the experience to a whole new level. All our parts were there and instructions are relatively straightforward. I recommend this every day of the week. Good quality too. Really impressed!!!
