This looks very orange when applied. It darkens. It's not quite the slate color I thought I'd get. But it's not Benjamin Moore. It's acid on concrete. I got a charcoal brown that is much better than the bleached looking concrete that the contractor poured. I'll attempt to tint the sealant to shift it more to a gray.

Stain was old or had not been stored properly we ordered multiple jugs of 2 colors. jugs had a thick layer of color stuck inside. Very inconsistent color. Both colors we bought turned basically the same shades. We took this to a local concrete stain supplier they said it was very old or had been in sun/heat for extended time.

UPDATE: COLOR CHANGES AFTER NEUTRALIZING! Once the product was rinsed Off and neutralized, the slate color showed up. I added a pic after rinsing. The orange color is from the chemical reaction with the acid. As with so many other buyers, the color was way off. It says “slate” on my order and packaging. But the color is orange/red/amber. Which is fine, but would have preferred to have a gray finish instead since that’s what I purchased.

This is awesome stuff! I needed this to stain some brick to match another color and it worked perfectly. I wasn't sure in the color and contacted the company and they helped me out with the color match. Their customer service is very pleasant to work with and very accommodating. They truly aim to please. You won't be disappointed.

Too much residue need to wash multiple times and even wash off residue color sticks to other areas when you wash it off.

I had to spend extra time cleaning and etching my patio for the best result. Color Variability: Acid stains can produce unpredictable results depending on the concrete mix. I gave it 4 stars because the prep and application require attention to detail, but for those willing to put in the effort, the results are highly rewarding.

DO NOT BUY. They were not able to ship all the product and there is red in their slate color which doesn't even show on the product page. We didn't get enough and had to find something else because 9 gallons didn't even make it to us. It is not worth what you buy it for and it says nonrefundable. Would not reccomend.
