💧 Clear water, zero hassle — your tank’s new green-killing machine!
The TARARIUM Aquarium Filter U-V is a submersible internal filter designed for 20-75 gallon tanks, delivering a powerful 200 GPH flow combined with a 5W 254nm U-V light. Its dual-stage filtration system uses a biochemical sponge and U-V sterilization to rapidly clear cloudy and green water within a week, while separate switches allow independent control of pump and light. This filter not only enhances water clarity but also reduces odors, making it ideal for both freshwater and saltwater tanks, including turtle habitats.

I’m really happy with this aquarium filter. It was easy to install and started working right away. The water in my tank cleared up noticeably within a day or two, and it runs fairly quietly compared to other filters I’ve used. I also like that it has the built-in UV feature to help keep the water clean. Overall it works great for my tank and seems like a good value for the price

THIS IS A REMARKABLE FILTER WITH A U-V LIGHT FOR AN AQUARIUM THAT IS HAVING TROUBLE WITH CLOUDY WATER. I WAS HAVING TROUBLE WITH BROWN ALGAE ( WHICH IS NOT A ALGAE AS SUCH ) AND WAS DESPERATE . I HAD TRIED EVERYTHING TO ALLEVIATE THIS PROBLEM SO I DECIDED TO TRY THIS FILTER AND THE RESULT HAS BEEN NOTHING SHORT OF MIRACULOUS. IT TOOK A COUPLE OF WEEKS AND I CLEANED THE FILTER ONCE, BUT NOW THE WATER IS SUPER CLEAR AND MY FISH ARE VERY HAPPY. I HAVE CAT FISH ONLY AND THEY CAN BE MESSY EATERS BUT THIS FILTER DOES A TREMENDOUS JOB. I DO A WATER CHANGE EVERY WEEKEND AND VACUUM THE GRAVEL AND I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT. I AM ALSO NOT OVER FEEDING MY FISH . I EVEN NOW HAVE ANOTHER BABY CATFISH WHO IS HAPPILY SWIMMING AROUND IN MY CLEAR TANK ! GREAT PRODUCT .

Excellent! Works as advertised and cleared a persistent algae bloom in a matter of days. Not overly loud or disruptive to the fish. Very pleased.

So initially I installed this in my son's 10 gallon fish tank. It had WAY too powerful filtration...if you look it has a 10 watt pump which is in the range of 200gph filtration. So I took it out and went back to the hang on the tank filter. With 2 goldfish and 2 minnows in a 10 gallon tank, I eventually had an algae problem. I was replacing HOB filters clogged with algae every couple days and the water was still murky and algae out of control! I really didn't want to resort to chemical algecide on account of a fish kill incident early on in my learning about fish tanks. So I adapted some irrigation hose to make a diffuser for this pump's output and removed the sponge inlet filter (not recommended) just to see if the UV could help. I had it on for about 1/2 hour, and the fish were constantly freaking out. Also, I noticed the water had become more cloudy with lots of micro bubbles (Ozone?). I turned it off to calms the fish and just went back to depending on the HOB filter. Well, that was Friday, and watching the tank over the past couple days wondering what to do it has progressively gotten clearer like magic. Today (Sunday night) the water is crystal clear!! I think that in the 1/2 hour this filter ran, the UV light directly sterilized or added enough Ozone to completely kill the algae. Amazing! So for the videos that show how clear it gets over a few days.....it MIGHT actually do that even if it only runs for a little bit on day 1..... the rest may be overkill....in any case, extremely effective.

It’s magic! I had set up a stink bug trap close to this tank and had no idea it was causing an enormous algae bloom. I thought this was just a UV light but it’s actually a filter, too. After seeing how great it works I’m considering buying one for all of my tanks!
