One Tablet Lasted 24 Hours!
Years ago I seem to remember a kind pharmacist telling me that I should get a cough syrup with Guaifenesin in it because that would help clear my ears when they got blocked up. I tried it, it worked, I was a believer. Now I have seen the benefits of Guaifenesin when dealing with thick green mucous that was blocking up my nasal passages and lungs. I really got hit hard this year after not being sick since 2020! Whatever is out there now if way more virulent and I was at the point where I was choking every time I was drinking water and this was making me throw up. So I could not drink water easily, I did not feel like eating and basically I was quite sick. Then yesterday I took ONE tablet of Mucinex 12 hour extended release tablets and the results were amazing. Today I do not have the green mucus and my lungs are nearly all clear and I have no more sinus blockage. Basically I can breathe again without feeling like I'm going to cough too much.I am still coughing a little and that is subsiding. I am just interested to know that a 12 hour tablet could have effects for a good 24 hours. I did feel really sleepy last night when I would wake up so it may cause some drowsiness. Usually I can wake up, do things and then go back to bed. So the duration for my body chemistry was 24 hours.I think this is a great value since a few tablets are probably going to solve your issues. Please consult with a doctor if you have any concerns. I am not a doctor so this review is not medical advice. I'm just glad to be alive and happier than yesterday! I can breathe through my nose again fine without using a serious decongestant besides a nasal spray. I knew Guaifenesin was good for draining ears but I had no idea it was good for getting mucus out of lungs and nasal passages. Happy to have this new information!~The Rebecca Review

Good stuff!
Every year I get seasonal allergies in the spring. What starts as post nasal drip eventually thickens and causes a reflexive cough and the need to constantly clear my throat. This is the only thing that seems to clear it up.

Long-lasting and easy to take
Very convenient when you want something long-lasting. The extended-release formula means fewer doses, which makes it easier to manage during the day.The tablets are straightforward to take with water, and the packaging is easy to open. I also like having this on hand since the 12-hour duration makes it more practical than shorter-acting options.Overall, a useful option if you’re looking for a long-lasting tablet that’s simple and convenient to use.

Useful to have at hand during flu season!
This is a great product. Though I am not very sure of taking it w/o consulting a doctor first. It loosens up mucus but coughing up and removing it may not always be possible. So other medication may be required if the chest congestion persists like it did in my case. Always consult a doctor first!
