Does everything and does it well. Amazing watch!
This is quite simply the very best smart watch I've ever owned. It doesn't just beat the name brands, it far surpasses them. I've owned 2 Samsungs, Garmin, Google and a Fitbit. Nine of those even remotely compared to this. I've owned it for about 8-9 months now and it never ceases to amaze me how much better it is than Anything else I've ever owned. Battery life is incredible. I typically get about 3 solid weeks before it needs charged. All the measurements it records (steps, distance, heartbeat, blood oxygen, etc are accurate and precise. It's indestructible and it looks good too. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this amazing watch.

Durable and bright
I switched from an Apple Watch to the TRex. The main reason I wanted to switch was battery life. The Apple Watch at best could get 24-30 hours, but general use 24hrs was my average. I looked at the Garmin Fenix 8 but I really just didn’t want to pay that price. I watched review after review and felt the TRex was the right fit for my needs. Concerns before I purchased: - messaging - calls - no Speaker I have had the device now for about 45 days. Durability - this is a solid watch. I have been doing a full kitchen gut and remodel. I have warn this watch the whole time and it looks like me. No scratches or evidence of any damage. Battery Life - I think confidently 18 days is consist. The first few days I was messing with the settings and looking it over a lot so battery was only 10 days after charging to 90%. I think you could get even more if I turned off notifications and brightness down. Navigation and menus - the OS is really smooth. Very fast to respond. I like the mix of buttons and touch screen. Especially when you have gloves on and such Insights and Health - I think it is far more accurate on steps than my Apple Watch. I wore both watch’s on the same wrist for a full day and I never realized how many non steps my Apple Watch was picking up. I was sitting and typing at my desk. The Apple Watch picked up a nearly 100 phantom steps. The TRex picks up stress pretty well. It notices when I am thinking about a topic that is stressing me, like “is my flooring going to arrive in time?” Or “we only have x hours to complete this before the contractors are here!” Lots of good health habit reminders and such. I am looking forward to getting more use out of them once this project is over. Price, quality, and worry - when you have an expensive watch you worry about damage. It’s not to say I don’t worry about this watch, but when it’s 1/3 or 1/5 of the price of the other watches you looked at, it’s nice to be able to just enjoy it. Lots of compliments on its appearance and screen brightness. A lot of watch for the process The gaps: I do have moments I wish I could do a voice reply to a text or quick reply, but Apple doesn’t allow that. No speaker is a kind of a bummer and I typically don’t pair my headphones to my watch, but that would be nice to be phone free for a run or workout. Overall, I really like the watch. I thought I would miss the Apple Watch integrations, but I don’t. The TRex still has the camera remote and find my phone features. I don’t really notice anything yet that I miss from my Apple Watch that I would say is a “send it back!” Thing. Updates are fast and so far little tweaks will continue to improve it. I would by it again.

High quality and full-featured.
After nearly a week of use, I love this watch. It's not very large or heavy, so wearing it non-stop is a breeze. The companion app, Zepp, works very well for tracking your health and workouts. Being that I wanted something more durable, the build quality is excellent as is the battery life. I lose around 5% charge per day, which is very acceptable. Watch face options are plentiful. In a nutshell, the best smartwatch I've owned. One I can recommend.

Feature Packed and High Quality
Have had this watch for a week and I absolutely love it! It was very easy to set up and linked flawlessly to my Runkeeper account. After several hikes and workouts, the gps is extremely accurate, the heartrate monitor provides valuable info, and there is so much other workout data available! Sleep tracking is making me more aware of how I rest! It is very durable and high quality. No problems seeing screen in full sunlight. I'm on the 10th day since I charged it fully and there is 48% battery left, which is awesome! I can't believe the functionality of this, as there are so many things on the Zepp app that I haven't even been able to fully grasp what all is possible with this watch. Highly recommended for the quality and amount of options and functions for the price!

Amazfit watches are great
Still some of the best smart watches around. I used to own a lot of different watches from other known manufacturers and now they are in a drawer discarded for lack of use. And in another drawer I have all my amazfit watches. I have many but my favorite are the T-Rex watches. I own the T-Rex 2 and now the T-Rex 3. I am still trying to figure out all the T-Rex 3 features and my review will be incomplete for now but I still like this watch. The battery life is less than my T-Rex 2 but it is still a solid 2.5 weeks on how I use it. I also think that I disabled the map feature because it does not show the enhanced display I saw on the advertisement. But like I mentioned, I am still getting used to the watch. The steps compared to my T-Rex 2 are less but more accurate because I think that my T-Rex 2 was more generous. The workout features are great and have a lot more options. The display is larger and better to look at for guys like me with poor eyesight. When I am at the gym I can see things a bit better through the sweat and tears. The notifications are good but sometimes the delay between my phone and the watch is a bit long. I am still trying to figure out things but so far is a good product and a good purchase for me. And the price was good enough for my budget. The T-Rex watches are durable and I really like them. It is too bad that I only wear one watch because I have plenty of amazfit watches to fill one of my arms. When I think about the other watches I feel bad that they may never see the light of day. But I like the T-Rex 3 because because it has a large display and I can see things a lot better. Overall it is a good purchase for me.

Get this now!!!
If you’re adventurous like me and need watch, get this now! After a few weeks with the Amazfit T-Rex 3, I can say it’s a true powerhouse for anyone who loves the outdoors and staying active. This smartwatch is built tough — its military-grade body, 328-foot water resistance, and very easy to set up mean I can confidently take it with me on water sports adventures, hikes, and any unpredictable terrain. The AMOLED display is a standout. It’s super bright, so I have no issues checking maps or workout stats even in bright sunlight, and the night mode is easy on the eyes when I’m in lower light plus it’s scratch resistant. The battery life is exceptional; with over three weeks on a typical charge and hours of extended GPS, it’s perfect for long weekends away or days when I’m constantly on the move. One feature that’s been a game-changer for me is the one-tap health indicator through the Zepp Health app. It lets me check my heart rate, oxygen levels, and stress in seconds. The variety of workout modes keeps things interesting, and the personalized AI training plans help me stay on top of my goals. The GPS accuracy and offline maps have been reliable, and the built-in compass adds peace of mind when I’m exploring new areas. The watch faces are fun to switch up based on the day, giving the T-Rex a bit of a customizable edge. Overall, the Amazfit T-Rex 3 is a solid companion for outdoor enthusiasts and travelers who want both durability and smart functionality. It’s not just a smartwatch — it’s become an essential part of my everyday routine!

I love it.
I'm pretty impressed with this watch. I had a fitbit and it quit on me, so I upgraded to this. I'm still not used to it yet and the navigation is a little clunky, but thats MY learning curve and not the watch. I tried a few different watch faces, tweaked some preliminary settings. So far so good. Its a LOT bigger than I expected, but it's light and comfortable, I'll get used to that - but it LOOKS like it's built for battle-rattle. The strap is better than I expected, I was planning on replacing it if needed, but that won't be necessary. The app setup was super easy, and the app itself deserves some praise. I was honestly expecting the app to be a little bit half-azzed, but it's actually really slick, coming from the Fitbit, it seems like it has way more information and a better layout. I have it set to show the HB/M live so its constantly sampling and updating, I like that for the curiosity/novelty factor, and the watch face I chose shows the outdoor temp which it gets from BT connectivity to my phone, thats actually really cool. I shut off all the social media alerts and music controls, I don't need any of that jazz buzzing me all the time. Im just interested in the health stuff and the Date/Time. If this thing lasts a couple/three years (and it obviously should with so few charging cycles) I'll be very happy with this. All things considered - quality of the device, the health app, the many cool different watch faces to pick from, the functionality of the phone/text messaging, music/social media/text (not using but you might), IMO its worth the money.

Battery life and functionality are flawless.
Ok! I have had this for about 3 weeks now. Initially I purchased this based on functionality for hiking and battery life. Let me say this.. I just gave the watch it's second charge. It lasts me roughly 14 days before needing a charge and even then it was still at 24%. I use it moderately heavy. As far as a sleep tracker it seems better than what I had via my Samsung watch. I don't think I'll ever go back to phone branded watches. The battery life on Pixel, Apple watch, and Samsung is complete garbage compared to this. I get those are running an OS but so is this. It has not lost connectivity to my Pixel phone once. The GPS is extremely accurate. I barely lost battery on a 5 mile hike while using dual band GPS. The functionality of the watch is great. It's very easy to navigate and get your settings tailored to the way you workout or just live your life. The Zepp app is also very easy to navigate. The display is bright and there are plenty of free watch faces to choose from. I do enjoy the sleep tracker although at times it won't record it due to movement during sleep. I also think it tracks steps better than the other phone branded watches. Far less phantom steps. I highly recommend this watch if you're looking for a whole bunch of options at an extremely fair price.

Premium sports watch on a budget
Great battery life, easy to use when it comes to initial set up. Zepp app is simple to follow. Premium feel at an affordable price. Zepp coach for running is amazing, just like Garmin coach. Customisation with data fields, menus and general settings is fantastic so it feels like it’s unique. Colour is great, I purchased the new orange Amazfit band which pops with this watch. Night mode is great, selections of colours to use, the only thing is I wish the torch was a tad brighter. Light and comfortable to wear. The Zepp flow feature is crazy good as well, ability to change settings via the voice assistant, Siri needs to sort its s#* out. I wish this had the ability to work with Spotify, that would make this watch perfect!

THE BEST AND BEAST ---------
I’ve been using the Amazfit T-Rex 3 for some time now, and honestly, this watch has exceeded my expectations in almost every way. The first thing that instantly grabs attention is the incredibly bright and crystal-clear 1.5-inch AMOLED display. Even under direct sunlight, the screen remains sharp, vibrant, and super easy to read thanks to its impressive 2000 nits brightness. The rugged premium design with stainless steel detailing gives it a true adventure-watch feel while still looking stylish enough for daily wear. One small thing I personally noticed is that while the Amazfit T-Rex 3 has an absolutely gorgeous and ultra-bright AMOLED display with 2000 nits peak brightness, deep blacks, and excellent outdoor visibility, I still felt that the display clarity and crispness on the CMF Watch Pro 2 looked slightly sharper and cleaner to my eyes in normal day-to-day usage. The T-Rex 3 display is bigger, more rugged, and designed for outdoor adventures, maps, workouts, and extreme visibility, whereas the CMF display feels a bit more refined and visually polished for regular UI elements and text clarity. Performance-wise, the watch feels amazingly fluid and smooth. Navigating through menus, apps, workout modes, maps, and features is fast and seamless. The UI is clean, responsive, and packed with useful features. I’m genuinely impressed by how many functions and smart tools Amazfit has included without making the experience feel laggy or cluttered. From health tracking, sleep monitoring, heart rate and SpO2 tracking to offline maps, dual-band GPS, AI features, and 170+ sports modes — everything works beautifully and reliably. Battery life is another area where this watch absolutely shines. Getting up to 14-15 days of battery backup on a rugged smartwatch with such a bright display and powerful GPS features is seriously impressive. It easily becomes a reliable companion for travel, workouts, outdoor activities, and everyday use without constantly worrying about charging. Overall, the Amazfit T-Rex 3 feels like a perfect combination of toughness, premium quality, smart functionality, and smooth performance. It delivers flagship-level features at a very impressive value, and every day of usage makes me appreciate it even more. Definitely one of the best rugged smartwatches I’ve used so far.
