Northern Wisconsin winters suck. These make it suck a little less, which is worth ANY amount of money. Thankfully, these are affordable enough to give as a gift to make anybody's winter a bit more bearable. They're very warm, the battery lasts for hours, and they fit easily into a pocket. I've given a few of these as gifts, and everyone loves them. I've lent my pair out to coworkers, only for them to go and buy themselves a set. Even if you don't live up here where it gets ridiculously cold, you'll still find plenty of use for them. They work well on all heat settings, I usually turn them down after a few minutes when my hands have thawed out. They only take a minute or two to warm up, and that's from -30° F. Seriously everyone I've had use them or given to as gifts loves them.

This is a very handy product for those whose hands get cold quickly (arthritis, carpal tunnel, TOS). They are smaller than a computer mouse so they fit easily into pockets. They are cleaner than using handwarmers and since they are rechargeable, they’re convenient to take anywhere. They also heat super fast, so be warned so as to prevent burns, especially with children. The straps are also handy in case you want to attach them to your coat so as not to lose them.

I bought these for my wife to warm up cold hands on the ski slopes. I suffer badly from cold hands so we both used them in the mountains on cold days. They are very, very effective at taking off the chill and getting properly comfortable again. They warm up REALLY quickly... in fact the hottest setting is too hot to touch as a starter. It's possible you may need to ramp up to this when the battery gets low but we havent reached that point yet. Our experience is that they run for atleast 5 hours on a mix of low and medium setting. The only downside is the size. They are a bit big for fitting inside ski gloves but squeeze into a medium mitt without being uncomfortable. We were so pleased with them that I bought a smaller version to use in my walking gloves. Well worth the spend!
