I must admit i did not fit the first one i had bought until last Friday, think i have had it for two years. One of my mates asked me to go for a ride, my wife was not pleased as she had heard he was a nutter, so i fitted it to the bike after i updated the software which was easy. Went for a blast and was shocked it picked up ALL the fixed cameras and mobile cameras, the mate i went out with was also impressed. Dead easy to fit two wires and cable ties and you are there. This second unit is for my other bike. I have three of these units and they do work, well worth the money.

Works well but aerial positioning critical
A good product and at £25 delivered it's just 25% the cost of a speeding ticket so I felt it would be worth experimenting with. The unit comes very well packaged and seems sturdy although it's a little bulkier than I would like. I managed to find space under my seat though and spent a while routeing the cables neatly to the front of the bike. I thought I'd found the ideal spot for the aerial on top of my brake reservoir (rectangular, flat topped and clear view of the sky) but the unit just wouldn't pick up satellites no matter how long I left it initializing. I was very disappointed but in desperation relocated the aerial to the top of the yoke (not the neatest looking place if I'm honest) and it now picks up satellites very quickly and works as advertised - very well - in fact I've actually ordered a second unit for my sportsbike. I've given it a 4 star rating - dropped a star due to the size of the unit and the fact that the aerial is sensitive to location. Top Tip - experiment with various locations for the aerial and make sure it works before securing it in place.

... something this cheap would actually work - but I'm pleased to say it's excellent
I was a bit dubious something this cheap would actually work - but I'm pleased to say it's excellent. The product is well made and once you find a decent switched power supply, pretty easy to fit. Downloading the GPS data is easy (provided you've got a PC - it won't work on a Mac) and it's already proved it's worth on some unfamiliar roads. A really good product.

Good when was working but now just annoys me...
Bought two... The first one did not make the first day. The second worked great for a few weeks but now won't find any satellites, it flashes green all the time which is very annoying. I end up removing it and went straight to the rubbish. Don't waste your money on this.

Great device, fitted easily and locked on to satellites ...
Great device, fitted easily and locked on to satellites right away and seemed to have a better idea of cameras than other devices I have used, apparently although you get some paper work with the unit suggesting that you have to pay for updates after a year this is incorrect and free lifetime updates are included.

20 quid its worth the risk even if you use it for finding the speed limit on a road you dont know
Thankfully the item was cheap at the time I was told its used to detect cameras by somone so fitted one to my motorbike. Ive maybe done 500 miles since and it seems to warn you randomly as opposed to when theres a actual threat of a camera

this really is a simple piece of kit, but it does it's job well. i had absolutely no problems connecting it to the bike (gpz500) and it worked as it should from the off. if you are after something that will keep you aware of KNOWN fixed and mobile sites in unfamiliar areas, then this is for you. if you're after something that will stop you getting caught by any speed cameras, then buy something like a radar/laser detector....... if i was going to say any negatives, it is that at night the LED is very bright, but you can simply bend it away a little and it takes the edge off. this served me well on the M25, where it knew where every gantry with a fixed camera on it was :-) a good purchase, and i would buy another if i needed to.

Stopped working after 4 weeks unfortunately, INFORAD finally replaced it after multiple emails back and forth. Weird thing it also interferes with the Garmin satnav I have on the bike so haven't fitted this new one back on now.
