Lots of features, ergonomic, easy to use, very well made
This radio looks great sat on shelf and sounds good in use! Lots of features, ergonomic, easy to use, very well made. £40 for a small rechargeable battery (which at time of writing must be bought separately for portable use) seems a lot. Pros: Build quality, sound quality, features. Cons: Separate battery is expensive, and AA batteries cannot be used with the radio.

Worth the money
This radio exudes quality, even by Roberts high standards. Suitably weighty and feels incredibly well put together. Aesthetically, it’s a joy to behold. Looks great in my kitchen. Great sound quality which I’d expect from this brand, although I think it lacks some of the depth/bass of my Revival RD70s. Very intuitive and easy to use. I’d definitely recommend this product.

Quality build and sound
Very happy with purchase Quality build Lovely sound Knobs and buttons have a nice sturdy feel Set up is very straightforward I have had a number of good radios and this one for me is up there in top 3 Only reason I dropped one star . # Radio does not come with battery plus headphones & usb ports are on the bottom of the radio . Anytime you need to connect usb etc, you need to lift the unit .

Classic Looks Modern Sound
This is a lovely radio. It reminds me of my time at school in the 70s at a school for the blind and a number of my school friends who had the Roberts Wireless For The Blind. This wonderful device is a most up to date version of those iconic Roberts Radios. It arrived in a very sturdy cardboard box. Shrouded in paper it was well protected. Two large knobs on either side do most of the work. The left being power and volume. The right is used to locate and select functions and stations. Across the top, five buttons numbered 1 to 5 for preset stations. Below the screen are five more buttons to access menus, favourites and other functions. The radio receives FM/VHF, DAB+ and internet radio. It can also connect to Spotify and Deezer, as well as aux input and USB. This makes this traditional looking radio a very modern unit. The sound is very good. Only as good however as that transmitted by the broadcasters. Let's not get into that one here. The radio is supplied with a mains lead. It can be used on a rechargeable battery which is an accessory purchased separately. In conclusion a good and impressive unit that is worthy of the Roberts name.

Wonderful Radio
The radio looks the part, not small like some modern radios can be. It has a lovely tone and the Internet connected with one touch of a button. It’s by far the best radio I’ve ever had.

Great product, secure packaging issue
Fabulous product. Great sound, well built and just what I was looking for. Hugely disappointed though that it arrived arrived in its factory box , no amazon packaging to hide what it was, making it quite clear to anyone what was contained within. Five stars for the product though, but a huge potential (theft) security issue on the packaging.

Roberts Rambler Max
Brilliant ! Only negatives are that the battery pack is thirty five quid and out of stock and only available in 2 colours, other than that, it looks lovely, sounds great and has a very nice quality feel to it 10/10

Super radio qui fait office aussi de radio Internet et supporte des protocoles Deezer et Spotify. Par contre il ne dit nulle part que la prise est anglaise bien prévoir un adaptateur.

The good - an actual electronic thing from UK. Sound fidelity is good. Internet radio changes your world after all the gatekeeping for decades on this medium. Example - 1980s.FM - no filler, almost all songs you didn't hear much of, UK leaning, no ads and most of all - musical! Instead of heavy handed barraging with the same stuff over and over, you get the flipside, stuff you like and barely heard and rarely hear the same song twice. THAT's the power of this medium. You can also easily program the 5 'hotbuttons' to your favourites. Dials have a satisfying click. Quality finishing in material. Downside - well it is a bit tomboyish to look at. The aesthetics are acquired to a degree. Slow to start. No battery and the cord could have come out the back rather than underneath. The biggest downside is you cannot buy the higher end products from Roberts Radio on Amazon to go to Australia, including this - it just came up as a rare opportunity. But you can buy the older models so the excuse it is about rules on voltage and amperage doesn't fly as the older models have THE SAME issue. Overall - if you can get one at the price at the Roberts store delivered to Australia on amazon no cost it's a 5. The hassles make it a 4.
