Excellent Filter and Great Performance
This Fram Ultra Synthetic filter works incredibly well. It has strong build quality and you can really tell it’s designed to last. My engine runs smoother and cleaner after each oil change, and I like that it’s rated for up to 20,000 miles. It installs easily and seals perfectly with no leaks. For the price and the performance, this is one of the best oil filters I’ve used. Highly recommended.”

Works on Indian Thunderstroke Engine
This is an analog for the Indian Thunderstroke engine, with the same anti-backflow valve, bypass valve, and almost the same micron rating. Much easier for the home mechanic to swap out compared the the factory filter, and slightly less expensive.

The grip is a game changer.
I love fram filters mainly because of the easy grip. Putting it on doesn't rest matter which one you use. Taking it off though? Having that grip to be able to twist it off easier is a life saver. I only buy fram filters with the grip for this reason.

Excellent Filter
The only brand of oil filter I use on all my cars. Has a good coating so it does not slip when you tighten or loosen it, does not require a tool.

For the price, these represent great value, and excellent engine protection if you run synthetic oil. Made in the USA, these beat the other stuff available in Oz by miles. You do need to check the cross-ref charts by FRAM to ensure they are the equivalent of original filter, but that's not too difficult. You can use both FRAM and Ryco cross-reg charts, but these FRAM filters are a cut above the ryco imo.

I use this on our 2017 Mazda CX3 and have for 3 years. OEM is good enough they say but spendy. The FRAM brand, like many others is either good or bad depending on the reviewer. I personally have been using them for a long time on my vehicles and zero issues, luck maybe? Dunno but I know one thing, I don't go 8K between changes, I go not more than 5K that is the key. Paper filters like this and others aren't just paper but with the light pressure they see and the slow breakdown of the viscosity of the oil, going more than 5K is IMHO, crazy and even tho the mfg's say it's fine, well I tend to err on the side of caution vs warranty or no warranty. I like the added benefit of the grip material on the outside as some of the 'value' price filters (FRAM included), don't have the grip material and sometimes getting them off during a change is...a problem. Do a change every 5K, buy whatever filter you want to, but price for price, I'll stick with Fram.
