Compressor works great! Not too loud, fills up tires quickly after a day on the trails. Also great peace of mind for road trips combined with having plugs and a repair kit with you. Lots of wiring involved with installation, if you are comfortable with installing stereos/soldering/pulling wires then diy it. It is not for the novice installer and I can imagine a shop would be expensive to have installed. It took me several hours to run all the wires to the fuse box and battery/aux switches. I used a separately sold mount for the cargo area of my jeep which I would recommend if putting into a JL unlimited. The inflation kit sold separately is also a good value in my opinion but not included when you buy the compressor. Overall I'm very pleased with the performance of the ARB twin compressor. It suits my needs for airing up after trails and also I'm able to air up various things when I am not near my home compressor (pool floats, stuff like that). I have electronic lockers so I can't comment on their use for air lockers but as a compressor I've aired up 2 sets of 33 inch tires (8 total tires in one go) and it ran like a champ without hesitation. A+ product, hope it lasts!

I'm using this compressor with the "Kraken" 4- Wheel tire inflation system... It mounts under the passenger front seat in my 2024 Jeep Wrangler and is able to inflate all four tires at the same time with equal pressure... The compressor is compact and quite with a continuous deity cycle... It fills all four tires from 20 psi to 35 psi in about 4 minutes... Because all four tires are connected the pressure is equal... I'm very satisfied with this compressor..

I don't understand the less than 5 star reviews. This is the best small compressor unit out there; nothing else comes close. It has a fan and a 100% duty cycle. I have mine mounted under the passenger seat of my Jeep and use it primarily to air up tires (with smaller compressor it takes a while to air up a 40" tire!). I also have it tied into my air locker manifold and can operate the lockers also. I recommend plumbing this into separate tank of 1 to 2 gallons. That way when moving from tire to tire it will keep running and build up air in the tank. The compressor shuts off at 150 and starts when the air pressure drops below 130. If you do not need that kind of pressure ARB also sells a 70/100 switch. It is imperative that you wire this properly as it draws a heavy current - each motor has its own 40 Amp fuse. I needed longer wires to mount it where I did and used a few ft of 8 Gauge wire. This is not a kit and is just the bare compressor and wiring. You will need to rig up a discharge line, quick coupler and hose to put it to use. I also like the fact that it is built in Australia and not China.

The twin air compressor from ARB is a really good on-board compressor. Performs tire inflations very fast. The only complaint I have it the included wiring harness. They provided a harness hoping to satisfy all needs. If your truck runs lockers, then the harness is perfect due to all the connections for switches and solenoids. However, if you only wish to use the compress to air up tires, then the included wire harness is an insane overkill with too many extra wires and connectors. Instead of cutting up the harness to rid the unnecessary wires and connectors, I simply created may own 2 wire harness using a Delphi PED 3 pin connector for the purple and black wire. This made it easy to connect a s switch without extra wires.

This compressor is highly thought of, but I found several issues that I would not expect in a high end product: 1) The housing at the outlet port appears to be made of cast aluminium, and cracked causing a huge air leak. 2) The steel shroud protecting the outlet side of the compressor unnecessarily interferes with the installation of a fitting to the outlet port. 3) The electrical connectors connecting the wire loom to the compressor are difficult to lock. On the positive side, this compressor fits into small spaces, and is pretty easy to install. I am exchanging the compressor for a replacement, and will update this review if necessary after I receive the replacement. UPDATE, FEBRUARY 8, 2018: I have received and installed the replacement compressor. Sexton accepted the faulty compressor back with no hassle whatsoever. Given the good response, I have upgraded my overall rating from 3 to 4 stars, For those thinking about running any sort of air tools from this compressor, you will definitely need an air tank. Don't count on more than a 20% to 40% duty cycle as this compressor can't keep up with any more. This is not a fault, this compressor does everything that it was designed to do. It is fine for inflating tires, air mattresses, etc. I am able to run a pneumatic impact wrench in short bursts to remove lug nuts with the addition of a small (500 ml) air tank. Overall, I would buy this compressor again.

The ARB duel air compressor rocks! Was running a Viair for years. It was reliable but slow for airing up 33’s. Switched to 35’s and the ARB. Can fill all 4 tires from 12 psi to 36 in just under 10 minutes. That’s deploying the hose and putting it away. Less time spent in the rain or snow. Highly recommended.

It is expensive but it works great and is reasonably well built.

Silent (can hardly hear it while running), efficient (current draw is lesser than a POS single piston no name compressor I had before), and high performance (pumps all 4 Tyres 265/70-R16 from 15psi to 36psi within 4 minutes using my home made 4-Tyre inflation kit). Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you ARB. I know it costs almost 6-8 times as a cheap no name compressor but you don’t wanna have one of those POS things breakdown in the middle of the desert when you popped a bead or when you need to inflate after your weekend dune bashing session.
