Antiseptic or disinfectant.
No use, I was told by a nurse not to use this stuff as an antiseptic. It is a disinfectant.

Bottle's label is damaged.
Ruined label. Top was taped on (not as part of its normal packaging) and opened rather too easily as if it might have been open before but seems to work okay although I'm nervous as to whether the product hasn't been tampered with. Product seems a bit bubbly for Dettol. Worrying since I intend to use it for laundry. Maybe it's fine, but it's rude to post a product with an utterly damaged label. It's not something I would have chosen to purchase, to have to look at in my home for years had I known this.

Not Sure
I bought this because I couldnโt get any at my local stores. Itโs a product I use regularly. But this didnโt smell the same. It was also more watery and the product Iโm used to. So Iโm dubious about its authenticity.

Impossible to hold bottle & squeeze
I ordered a bottle of Dettol as advertised, which had a handle built into the right side just what I wanted but not the one received. The dettol was cloudy. I have arthritis in my wrists so canโt lift or pour contents.

**8.9/10 Highly Effective Antiseptic that has a Range of Functional Uses - Great Product!**
I had to purchase this one because I had a serious problem with the other brands' version (what I usually use) - they sent me potent, highly-concentrated, CHLORINE, instead of the Gentle, Safe Antiseptic Disinfectant that was advertised, which is seriously dangerous!! So I decided to play it safe and purchase from a different, trusted seller! I find this useful, but was not fully aware that the ingredients are completely different to the other brands' version that I used to use (although it is a very similar product). The main problem I have with this one, is that it specifically states to NOT use it for "dry skin conditions", but also CAN be used for "dandruff"(?)โฆ a bit of a mixed message there, as dandruff is technically a dry skin condition... But, nevertheless, I still need to use a gentle/safe disinfectant on my wounds that are caused by dry skin conditions, so it is a bit of a catch-22 situation - I decided to put some into empty shampoo bottles and add water + head & shoulders into all of them & TCP into one, shea butter into another, an so on... to fully maximise it's efficiency. I accidentally managed to get a large portion of undiluted product on my face AFTER I vigorously rubbed it with a towel after scrubbing it clean and removing the dry skin - essentially opening-up those tiny shallow wounds (and the deeper split-wounds) over my face & ears and experienced an alarming stinging/'burning' sensation (akin to light acid), for a short period of time... This was relieved after using the shower-head to continuously spray my face with warm and then cold water (to open, clean and close my pores + wounds) - I initially tried to wash & splash my face with water in the sink to no avail and had to quickly use the shower-head! It left NO permanent damage to my skin and any signs were completely gone after 10-minutes! There was initially some severe 'reddening' as my skin is super-sensitive to even the slightest touch (even lotion & E45 makes my skin 'sting') but that + the stinging sensations completely dissipated after 10-minutes! This should NOT be used undiluted, that is not clear on the packaging/label, unless you read it carefully, BUT, I knew that anyway, it was just an accident as I forgot to wash my hands after handling it when it leaked from the bottle mixtures when pouring small amounts into them all. It smells like any ordinary pine-based cleaner/s, somewhat potent and certainly lingers for a while on surfaces, even after washing - it is a concentrated mixture that is advised to use approximately 1-2 tablespoons per 1/4 - 1 Litre of water (which is good because it will last a lot longer, if used correctly and is watered-down (diluted) like some other products - just be sure to read the instructions that are DIFFERENT for each individual use/purpose). As a multi-purpose disinfectant, it can be used for an array of reasons, even for personal hygiene (if advised by your doctor), so it is highly versatile in that respect. Dettol are a very famous and reliable household name that specialise in trusted cleaning products like soaps, disinfectants, anti-bacterial & other household cleaners - they're a seriously respected company. This is a super effective antiseptic that shows signs of improvement in certain conditions/symptoms shortly after the first use, sometimes up to a week, depending on the circumstances... I notice a significant change/improvement in skin/wound health almost immediately, within a few hours after using it, which actually speeds-up the healing process of wounds and eliminates a large majority of skin issues/complaints that I regularly experience! The symptoms dramatically decrease over the course of the next 24-hours, sometimes being completely eradicated by the following day, even without re-applying the solution to the affected site/s! With the other brands' version, it can also be used to disinfect/sterilise your laundry (used in the washing machine, or directly on the clothes themselves, prior to washing), but I would NOT use this product in my laundry, because it has completely different ingredients/properties and is not one of the main uses - in-fact, it is NOT even on the list of uses within the instructions on the label (unlike other antiseptic disinfectants!)โฆ Which is a shame really, because I was hoping it consisted-of similar ingredients as the other version so I could bathe in it and also use it in addition to my laundry gel, for that 'perfect' washed-laundry... I should have checked... But all is not lost, I can still use it for my skin & wound conditions/issues. The cost is not extortionate - it is pretty reasonable, considering how long a single 750ml bottle should last... even for a large family, the bottle should technically last, easily, a good few months, to over 1+ year/s (if used in accordance to the guidelines and as necessary; correctly). In conclusion, I definitely recommend this antiseptic product - just make sure to use it sparingly and with caution (overuse is an ill-advised practice), it is an effective form of treatment for minor, to severe wounds/hygiene-related conditions (even for spots/pimples). ***(UPDATE)*** I have been using a 'dash' of this in my full-body shower ritual (disclaimer: I use the following mixture on my WHOLE body + face & head - with absolutely INCREDIBLE results!); I have transferred 2/3 of my Pro-Expert Complete 7 Head & Shoulders from it's large pump bottle into multiple other shower gel + cream bottles and then added: - a dash of THIS Antiseptic into each of them - I also added a generous helping of water - a bit of the normal Head & Shoulders - a tiny bit of T-Gel into x2 of the bottles - Shea Butter Cream - a little bit of E45 + Aveeno Lotion and mixed it all up well (shaken vigorously)... (I mainly use the Pro H&S large pump bottle)... It has produced the ULTIMATE Anti-Dandruff AND Skin-Softener & Rejuvenator, that has impressively reduced/removed nearly ALL of my dry skin problems that I have, in various places around my entire body... This is such an excellent & effective solution, that worked so much better than I could have ever anticipated/imagined! Literally, my Most-affected areas like my: permanent rough/bumpy skin on the back of my upper-arms, the skin-splits at the top & bottom of my ear (where it connects to the head), the dry skin that forms on the sides of the nose, the random sternum rashes & dry skin behind the ears - even all of the dry, flaky, crust/split skin across my scalp has DISAPPEARED since using this mixture! Nothing, and I mean NOTHING really worked as I would have liked it to, before I started adding some of THIS antiseptic into the mix!.. It's even a main use for this product (as instructed on the bottle), to help treat dandruff, etc... I used to try all sorts for nearly 2 decades and nothing worked as well as it should have - not like how this worked anyway! ***

Smells nice, very concentrated
It smells nice and presumably works, but I wish it were clearer / better labelled as being concentrated and needing to be diluted. I am not originally from the UK and am previously unfamiliar with the product, but similar products in my home country do not need dilution, and there's no indication on the front of the bottle that it is concentrated. I grabbed it after a scrape, and (regrettably) did not read the small writing on the back. Ouch. Certainly not a mistake I'll make again, and mostly on me for not reading the whole bottle, but I could certainly see other folk unfamiliar with the product or distracted by the pain of an injury making the same mistake
