Installation was way easier than I thought. The alignment frame helped a lot, and I didn’t have to fight with bubbles like I usually do. It lined up pretty much perfectly on the first try. Once it’s on, you barely notice it. The screen still looks clear and touch response feels the same as without a protector. The surface is really smooth too — your finger just glides across it, which actually makes scrolling feel nicer than the bare screen. One thing I appreciated more than expected is the EyeSafe feature. I spend a lot of time on my phone at night, and the screen feels a little easier on my eyes without making everything look yellow. I often got headaches or slight pressure around my eyes but since I started to use the screen protector, it went away. Update: I honestly lost count of how many times I’ve dropped my phone, but after about a month of use, the screen protector finally got a crack, a little over an inch long. It’s not serious damage though — the crack isn’t deep and hardly noticeable to the point it’s not worth my time to practice the warranty on it. All of the drops happened indoors at home, mostly onto tile or wooden floors, and nothing directly hit the screen besides the floor itself. Considering that, I’d say it held up pretty well and likely did its job protecting the actual screen underneath. Although it doesn’t seem quite as durable as Apple’s original screen, I’d still choose this protector again. The EyeSafe feature alone is a huge plus for me, and knowing there’s a warranty gives some extra peace of mind.

Arguably better than any other ‘glass’ screen protector currently available, imho. Although, I don’t know exactly how protective this year’s version is. One negative: The plastic tab to remove the film during the application process, broke during the application. But I was still able to apply the screen protector w/o any air bubbles, so it’s still 5-stars from me (the instructions and rest of the included applying-accessories worked great). Highly recommended.

This screen protector started out promising because the fit was actually very good. It covered the screen nicely from edge to edge and lined up properly without any obvious gaps or sizing problems. I also thought the installation process was easy. It came with the accessories needed to put it on, and the setup felt straightforward rather than frustrating. Right after installation, I noticed one bubble, but that cleared up on its own after a couple of days, which has been my experience with some other screen protectors too. Unfortunately, the good first impression did not last very long. The biggest problem was durability. In my case, the glass cracked after only about three weeks of use, which was far sooner than I expected. I have two kids, so my phone definitely gets handled roughly and tossed around more than it should, but that is exactly why I care so much about having a reliable screen protector in the first place. I know nothing is unbreakable, but I expected something better than this given how it is marketed. What made this more disappointing is that I have used other screen protectors in the same household conditions, and they held up much longer. Before this one, I had been using Flolab, and those usually lasted closer to six months before cracking. That is a major difference for me. Under real everyday use, this one just did not seem nearly as durable. If your phone stays in perfect condition all day, your experience may be different, but for a busy household this did not hold up the way I wanted it to. The other issue was even more frustrating because it seemed to affect how the phone functioned. After I installed this protector, the ambient light sensor appeared to stop working properly. My phone stopped automatically adjusting brightness when moving between bright and dark environments. That became annoying fast because auto brightness is one of those features you do not think about until it stops working. I found myself having to adjust the brightness manually much more often, which made everyday use less convenient. For me, that was a serious drawback. A screen protector should not interfere with basic phone behavior. Even though the fit was correct and installation was simple, I do not think those positives make up for the fact that it cracked quickly and seemed to interfere with the brightness sensor. The protector looked good when first applied and sat properly on the phone, but performance over time matters a lot more to me than the first few days. I would not buy this one again. The edge-to-edge fit was fine, the included accessories made installation easy, and the small bubble disappeared on its own, but the short lifespan and sensor issue were too big to ignore. Based on my experience, I would not recommend it.

Rubbish. Not worth it

I have owned many screen protectors in the past. Every one of them had been horrible to apply. This screen protector came with an application tray and clear instructions on how to apply. It arrived in a box with the tray two envelopes. One had the cleaning materials the other the screen protector. When I took the protector screen out of the envelope it felt very strong not flimsy like the others in the past I had owned. I followed the instructions and easily applied it to the phone. When look at the phone I can’t see the protector. Other you could see where they began an ended. This protector is seamless. It is part of the phone. I highly recommend it. It is worth the money.

The screen protector is well made and the process to apply it is very easy and reliable for a neat and clean installation. I rated the product a 4 instead of a 5 since my screen protector cracked after 2 months of use. Zagg does offer a lifetime free replacement (customer pays shipping cost) and the process to request a a new screen is simple if you registered your purchase. I’m hopeful the new screen will be more reliable- if not, I will come back and modify this review. I would also note that I have been using screen protectors for the last ten years or so and this is only the second time I cracked my screen. I point this out because I’m not tough on my phones. I take good care of them so I’m a little concerned why this cracked. I did not have any serious drops with my phone that made me question my screen.

Great screen protector, but I accidentally broke it already within a week of putting it on and I only put it on a month after buying it so I was wondering how I can get that replacement that’s guaranteed with the lifetime warranty if I already threw away the box and forgot to scan the QR code or whatever I was supposed to do

Ok, this is a good screen protector BUT it is not worth the price compared to the numerous other, cheaper screen protectors. I might pay a 20% premium over the competition but this is 3x to 5x as expensive. The reason to buy it? It has a really nice placement system which keeps you from having bubbling problems, it’s a little more robust, and MOST IMPORTANTLY - it has a free replacement warranty! At least it claims to have a warranty. When you receive the product it gives you a QR code to scan and register your purchase and once you do, you’re golden, right? But then the protector cracks as they all do eventually and you want to take advantage of that warranty? Well then they send you an email telling you that your warranty was canceled. And then you try to find out why and they just need a proof of purchase (so, why not get that immediately when you register your warranty, when people might still have such a receipt readily available???). Then, if you buy on Amazon and pull up the order information and send that, suddenly a screen shot of that informs not enough. They want to run you around until you stop asking for you replacement. Sorry zag, there are plenty of screen protectors which sacrificially take the shock of a drop and crack rather than letting the screen itself break. And they cost far less than this product. Your only advantage was your warranty… but since that is a hoax, the product is just an overpriced gimmick.
