Nice sturdy case for a gigging musician
I'm a professional gigging musician, and I use this case to carry 2 iphone 6s Pluses that I use as my mp3 player for my backing tracks. The case fits right in the top pocket of my violin case. I often put a small li-ion batter pack in there along with the phones, and nothing moves during transport as the foam holds everything securely. I like that the carrying handle swings out for easy carrying, then tucks back in to save space. Great for my purposes, I just wish I purchased it before shattering another iphone in my case non-secured...

Use as intended.
The box is as expected. Because it is small, it is not meant to be thick. So it is thin. It functions as it should. Is it water sealed? I wouldn't expect it, so I didn't test it. Is it durable? I'm not going to find out, it is too thin and can probably break easy. Is there value? Sure, if you use it for light duty and simple transportation. But if you need something to ensure safety, stick to the real Pelican.

Decent value, but it is NOT waterproof
Not a bad price. returned the exact one that was sold under the brand name "Ant Mag" for $10 more. Seems sturdy enough, but the reason for 3 stars are as follows: 1) there is no captured rubber seal to make it waterproof or to even validate having a pressure valve (its merely a brass screw anyway) and 2) the latches have some wiggle when closed (because of the lack of a squishy rubber seal) but oddly, it stays closed with no play in the lid fit. 3) the lid only opens to 90 deg. and wants to fall closed too easily. Otherwise, there are 3 nice foam inserts. 1 egg crate pattern in the lid, 1 that is 1 3/4" thick and perforated with 3/8" squares all over and the last one is 1/8" thick all fitting perfectly in the case. Overall, it suits my needs just fine.

Missing foam!
Box seems like it's decent quality but I received one with no foam in it? Edit. The seller contacted me and offered solution

When in doubt just read reviews!
The size of this box is a tad smaller than i initially thought, however it still worked for what I needed, not exactly sure it would be waterproof, I don’t really need it to be though. I built a small speaker box out of this with a drill battery and the small 1002t amp, and a 6.5” speaker and this thing ended up sounding amazing! The case material was thick for as cheap as this case is. The locks are very positive locking so it will never just pop open.
