****Best insoles I’ve used in 40 years of running—support without the punishment****
I’ve been running for about 40 years, including a few sub-3:00 marathons. In that time, I’ve tried just about every insole/insert or “orthotic-style” option out there—Sorbothane, Superfeet, Spenco, and others. These PowerStep Bridge insoles are the best I’ve ever worn, bar none. What makes them different is that they combine the best traits of the popular brands, while fixing the stuff that usually drives me crazy. You get real structure and alignment from the supportive frame and heel cup—but unlike the rigid, plank-like inserts (that can feel like you’re standing on a hard card), theseflex naturally with your foot. That matters, because overly stiff inserts can change your gait in a bad way and leave the lower knee/leg paying the price. With these, the support is there, but the ride feels smoother and more forgiving. The foam setup is also excellent: a responsive “energize” layer for impact and rebound, plus a softer memory-foam layer for comfort. On top of that, the cover is moisture-wicking, so they feel less swampy on longer runs or warmer days. The “adaptable shape” claim actually feels real in use—the arch support doesn’t just prop you up; it feels like it guides your foot into a better position without forcing it. Add the stabilizing heel cup and the whole system changes the dynamics of impact and stability in a very noticeable way. For me, these have been a genuine upgrade and could easily be life-changing if you’ve struggled to find the balance between support and comfort—especially if rigid inserts have aggravated your knees or made your stride feel unnatural.

Perfect for high arches. However, durability concerns regarding the top fabric liner.
They are perfect for me, as I have a high arch and recently had some tendonitis issues. My tendonitis issues were gone almost instantly after the first few days of use. I wear a size 8.5 sneaker/size 8 work boot and the Men's 8-9.5 fit into my shoes and boots perfectly without having to cut any material off. The one downside of these insoles is that the cloth liner on top of the insert has began to peel off slightly on my right heel. This is through the wear of a 170lb man taking 20-30k steps daily, 5 days a week, over the past month or so. I may look into other more sturdy options for a work boot, but one month of daily use and the sole is still comfortable and fully intact. That's the one single thing preventing me from giving this product a perfect 5 star rating, is the durability concerns for heavy daily use at work. These are so good that if they last me 3 months of the year, I'd gladly just buy 3 pairs for the year and call it a day. That's just how comfy these are, although I'll still see what other options PowerStep has. If I put these in my (non-work shoes) like in sneakers or dress shoes, I'm sure I'd get more mileage out of these durability wise. That being said, I think it's worth the investment to buy like 3 of these at a time and put them in your rotation of shoes/boots. That's the high comfort level they provide.

Squeaks with every step, too noisy to wear
UPDATE: I swapped the Bridge orthotic into a different pair of running shoes (Brooks Adrenaline 22) that I wear when I’m outside in the yard hitting golf balls. No squeaking is heard when walking in the older pair of shoes. It must have just been the interaction of the Bridge orthotics and the newer shoes (Brooks Adrenaline 24) that I experienced the squeaking sound with every step. I only wear the older shoes 2-3 hours at a time 3-4 days a week, so it may takes some time before the longevity of the Bridge orthotics are really tested. The orthotics are comfortable; I can’t even tell that they are in place in the shoes. I've used PowerStep orthotics for over 20 years after having a heel bone reconstruction. I've always found them comfortable and supportive. I saw a video review of these new bridge orthotics and thought that I'd give them a try. While they are comfortable they are just too darn noisy to wear. They have a small rigid plastic support at the heel that fits onto molded channels in the styrofoam base that does not seem like they would last very long (at least not the lifetime of a shoe). The squishy/squeaky sound that emanates from them with every step is just too noisy to tolerate.

Great vale and perfect fit
Great value. Less expensive than many insoles but fits my feet, provides good structure and comfort. Yet low profile and doesn’t take too much room in the shoes. Surprised it could make so much difference. Recommend.

Best orthotics on the market
I have Plantar Fasciitis and I feel like I'm buying new orthotics every few weeks to find that perfect fit and comfort. These are perfect for that sharp heel pain with tons of cushion and flex to your arch when you walk unlike other orthotics that jab up into your fasciitis every time you walk. These are the best ones I've found!

Perfect Fit for SFX4
I haven’t used these for long, but I was pleased and surprised that the 10-11.5 men’s insole is a perfect fit for a size 10 Babolat SFX4 men’s shoe and no trimming was needed. This was one of the few insoles that I found that were close to the thickness of the original insole, as well. They seem comfortable enough, but only time will tell how they hold up under aggressive wear.
