OXO Good Grips Produce Saver – Herb Keeper

I have recently discovered mini cucumbers at Costco and at WalMart. They can be pricey ($3-4 per pound). They usually come in baggies and start to get soft and even slimy in just a few days. Well, this herb keeper keeps my mini cukes nice and crisp for up to 2 weeks. I have made pasta salads with these mini cukes (and tomatoes, artichoke hearts, garbanzos, olives, etc.) and it's the first thing gone at the pot-luck. Even cuke haters love these mini cukes and this herb keeper keeps them fresh! I am sure it would be good for other produce...

Well made and it works! I can’t believe how long my parsley stayed fresh and useable in this container. It’s like magic. I got this one to replace a similar non-Oxo version that was so flimsy it fell apart. I knew Oxo would have something better and this herb keeper was just the ticket.

I was a little skeptical, but this really works. Cilantro can last for over a week in this and other herbs can last for over two weeks. Well worth the money.

So far this works really well to keep herbs fresh in the fridge. It fits on the shelf in the fridge nicely and is not intrusive. The quality is a bit flimsy however, especially the lid. I feel like it may break or crack easily, especially when washing it. It doesn't hold as many herbs easily as I would like. For instance, I could not fit entire green onions without either bending them in half or cutting the tops off. That said, it certainly does what it's supposed to. Cilantro stayed fresh for a long time.

So far so good for this produce saver. It seems to be working as advertised and I can definitely tell this is extending the life of my fresh herbs over other methods I’ve tried. It fits nicely in the door of my fridge. I’m a big fan of Oxo products and this one does not disappoint, good value and easy to use.

I absolutely love these, I bought two of them about two weeks ago to use for cilantro and parsley, and both of them are STILL fresh enough to use as I'm typing this. I highly recommend this product, it's high quality and easy to use, easy to clean, and because they serve their purpose while still looking nice and tidy in the fridge. They're a good size too, you just have to trim the stems of your herbs to make them short enough to fit if they don't already.

Not 11.3” like it shows. It is only 9” tall. I wanted this for my cilantro and green onions, but it’s not tall enough. I don’t know how it functions, because I’m returning it. The other measurements in the photo are correct, just in case anyone was wondering.

The other herb keepers I kept seeing were too small to hold any substantial amount, they seemed better suited for leftovers. This will hold a full bunch of cilantro and have room for more. This really extends the life of my herbs, and lets me actually get around to using them before I end up throwing them away because they shriveled up. Just remember to put in fresh water if you procrastinate to use your fresh produce, like me.The lid opens easily to access the inner bin. It stands securely upright on its own in the fridge but you’ll want to still take care not tip it over, as it will leak. I haven’t had any concerns about that yet.The first one I ordered came damaged and after writing the company they sent a replacement out immediately! If I dropped it and broke it I wouldn’t hesitate to order another one. I’ve already recommended this one to friends.

Works great! Easy to use, nicely holds two bunches of mint (but is a bit crowded until you use some). It’s a bit delicate, I bought two and the lid hinge on one was broken, but Amazon replaced it. I replace the water daily and herbs last a long time in the fridge.

Very versatile and looks very neat in the fridge. Saw it on tiktok and i had to buy it. Very sturdy and love the fact it has a lift up lid so its easier to take out, well whatever you store in there without having to take out the whole container. I mainly bought it for my coriander i use for my curries
