Does this water heater have a sacrificial anode to protect it from corrosion? I am replacing an ariston 2.5 that rusted out very rapidly.

can i plug this in to a regular wall outlet? if so would it need its own outlet?

It doesn't come with a cord. You can permanently install or get a cord kit. You should install on a dedicated 20A circuit.

Does this plug into a 110 recepticle or do you need to hard wire it?

It does not have a cord. Wiring a circuit to your panel box is best. With a 1500w element it pulls 12.5 amps so you could also wire it with a #12 120 volt cord and plug it in the wall but remember it should be the only appliance on the circuit. Follow all safety precautions when working with electricity.

What size MPT are the inlet and outlet?

Sorry, my son did the actual installation. I'm reasonably sure that both re 1/2 inch but couldn't swear to it. The Reliance web site should have a spec sheet
