GoPro Magnetic Latch Mount (HERO13) - Official GoPro Accessory (AEMAG-001)

This is an exception mount accessory for a Go-Pro 13. It is not only magnetic, but latches to the finger mount. It is very convenient to have several of them to attach to you selfie stick, or other mounts. Here is another insight, you can replace the finger mount on at least the GoPro 11 and 12, with a GoPro 13 finger mount and use the magnetic mount on them (It does not fit perfectly and you might need a magnifying glass to remove & replace the screws). You can obviously get this cheaper on the GoPro web site, especially if you are a GoPro subscriber, but here's the catch; they are frequently out of stock, but available on Amazon. Again, solid, reliable, magnetic quick release mount that allows you to quickly remove the camera with painstaking messing with the finger screws. Very pleased. Update: I have tested the Magnetic Mount on the GoPro 11. After you replace the Go Pro 11 fingers mount with the Go Pro 13 fingers mount, the magnetic latch works fine. Some people claim you can't use it in conjunction with a Media Mount, but this is not totally true. The Media Mount will work with it. However, when you remove your Go Pro 11 or 12 from the Media Mod you need to put on the top battery side part of the Mod to compensate for a very minor clearance item that will bind if you do not.

This Go Pro magnetic latch mount was a great value for the money, the versatility of switching mounts with its ease of use made it quicker then ever to film. the magnet strength was strong making it feel very secure.

Wow! This Magnetic Latch makes things so much easier while mountain biking. I have take this on a few rides where the terrain is choppy and this has help great! Sometimes I do get a little scared and when I look at my chesty, my GoPro is still nicely secure. One day I will be confident enough to let the product do its work. The fit is perfect on my GoPro 13 as it is already built to work with the Latch. I did try this one on my GoPro 10 but to make it compatible I needed to replace my mounting latch to an updated version, which it worked.

Excellent product and does its job well, just ridiculously overpriced for what it is, but what isn’t these days. Should be half the price it is, this matters more because if you’re the type of person who is buying this, you’re probably needing more than one, two at least, probably three or even four, which brings you to over $100 for four tiny pieces of metal that are not at all complicated bits of accessory.
