Q: Is it clear/transparent?

No, it's a thin white stretchy mesh. My physiotherapist told me to use it under the Leucotape to protect the skin from an adverse reaction.to the tape.

hi there ..yes it does have quite a good stretch to it i have used it for so many things even on my dog !! mainly it was used by me for keeping dry dressings in place as you could wrap this hypafix around the dressing and it then stretches and sticks to itself really really well
