I am allergic to almost every hospital dressing that has adhesive. I'm in hospital often, and have cannulas frequently. No matter what's tried, I always end up with a bleeding rash. Micropore, steristrip, cannula dressing, all of it. Hypafix was recommended so I ordered a roll. I'm so pleased! I've worn a large piece on the inside of my elbow for about five hours, and only had a small red mark. No itching, burning, or rash. I'm delighted! Excited about a hospital dressing, I know, it's daft. But it's such a relief to find something! The tape itself is on the roll, with two paper strips protecting it. You can use these as guidelines to cut it into strips, or use the full width of it for a larger dressing. It's white, stretchy and soft. The adhesive stayed in place perfectly, but doesn't feel very sticky. It peeled off easily. There's a large amount of it too. I'll be cutting a strip to keep sealed, and take it with me next appointment. Obviously it's also very useful to have at home. Very happy to recommend. Ideal for the purpose we brought it for

I purchased this as a replacement for some old Hypafix I had. The listing shows the item with purple writing, which is what I had before. I picked this listing due to the purple as I didn't know if product had changed etc as I can be allergic to tapes. The item that arrived had red writing and a different box to listing images, the brand says Leukoplast, made by BSN Medical in Germany. Anyway, I have tried the product and am not allergic to it. I use it to tape my toes for hiking as blister prevention and it works a treat, is flexible and I don't feel it at all, also easily reoved but stays put for my walks until I remove it. A fab lady on youtube does videos of how to tape for blister prevention. Very pleased and this will last me a lifetime.

The small package came very quickly and was well wrapped. This item is very useful and waterproof. But you do need to change the dressing every other day. It can also go straight onto bare skin. I have not any reaction to it. I am using it to cover a varuca on the ball of my foot. Which is helping. It is very easy to use.
