I’ve used this wool a lot now. Never had any knots. Easy to work for. Lovely and soft. Use it for baby blankets. Again this company has not failed me. Lovely wool and love the colour

I am knitting a picnic blanket in squares so I double the DK so that makes it “ Chunky “ it will protect anyone who sits or lies on it. Stones and hard soil can’t be felt when it is created double thick. Just a word of advice if you wind two balls together it is next to impossible to unravel back to “ DK “ again. Once you have wound them together they are a single product. Thank you for a quality product . Just a thought print a pattern on the wrapper just to crochet or knit squares. My choice of cheerful colours is coming together beautifully my only problem now is WHO to give it to? lol I am hoping that it will have a long useful lifetime . I am 77 years old now and find that knitting is very good exercise keep my hands supple. I hate just watching the TV with nothing to do with my hands at the moment I can make one square a day . The big challenge that I see ahead is sewing the squares together ! With a strong border - I don’t use white as it wouldn’t look good if it gets dirty I wash the squares in my washing machine on a low temperature with a short spin cycle ,you may have to leave it hanging in the bathroom to “ drip dry “ but if washed and dried on a hot wash it can change a very handsome blanket to a not so beautiful end product . Good luck you will really enjoy this very creative endeavour,putting unusual colours together there is a wonderful inexpensive project that you might love to keep for the top of your bed ? I’m planning to live to be 97 years of age like my mother I might need that many years if my bed is a big one ! Happy knitting /chrochet everyone xx

Using this to knit hats and gloves for charity. Yarn is soft, easy to knit with, doesn't split and so far no knots. Great value and will be buying again in other colours if the price is right.

Bought a lot of yarn from various suppliers for 2 different projects. This was last to arrive and I didn't remember the order. Was the first time I reçeived a squashed flat ball of yarn, vacuum packed Invoiced by SewProCrafts 100g wool @4.98 ball says 100% acrylic. I was confused Went on their website yarn is 2.95 and 100% acrylic. Then noticed delivery amazon logistics and found my order @3.95 so realised it was for the cushion and not the jumper, so acrylic was correct. It is an exceptionally bright orange as pictured, once package snipped ball returned to normal size. 3 star cos I hate acrylic but too mean to pay for wool for a cushion

Ich habe mir das Hayfield Bonus DK Doppelstrick-Garn in der Farbe Smaragdgrün (916) bestellt und bin rundum begeistert. Schon beim Auspacken fällt die satte, kräftige Farbe auf – ein wunderschönes, tiefes Grün, das im Licht richtig strahlt und sowohl dezent als auch lebendig wirkt. Genau die richtige Wahl für Projekte, die auffallen, ohne zu grell zu sein. Das Garn fühlt sich angenehm weich an und liegt super in der Hand, egal ob man strickt oder häkelt. Ich habe beides ausprobiert und kann bestätigen, dass es sich hervorragend verarbeiten lässt. Die Maschen gleiten leicht über die Nadeln, ohne zu rutschen oder sich zu sehr zu spannen. Beim Häkeln behält das Garn seine Form, und es spaltet sich nicht so leicht, was gerade bei feineren Arbeiten ein echter Vorteil ist. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass das Garn sehr gleichmäßig verzwirnt ist. Dadurch entstehen saubere, gleichmäßige Maschenbilder, die am Ende ein sehr professionelles Ergebnis geben. Auch nach mehrmaligem Aufribbeln, wenn mal etwas nicht ganz gepasst hat, sieht das Garn immer noch schön aus und wirkt keineswegs abgenutzt oder fusselig. Die Qualität macht insgesamt einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck. Obwohl es sich um ein preislich attraktives Garn handelt, merkt man sofort, dass es langlebig ist und den Vergleich mit teureren Sorten nicht scheuen muss. Für mich stimmt hier das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut. Ich habe das Garn für ein Schalprojekt genutzt und es macht wirklich Freude, damit zu arbeiten. Durch die Stärke DK eignet es sich für viele unterschiedliche Projekte – ob Kleidung, Accessoires oder Deko. Das Smaragdgrün kommt besonders bei größeren Flächen toll zur Geltung und lässt sich auch sehr schön mit neutraleren Farben kombinieren. Alles in allem bin ich mit dem Hayfield Bonus DK Doppelstrick mehr als zufrieden. Es ist angenehm zu verarbeiten, vielseitig einsetzbar, sieht hochwertig aus und begeistert durch die wunderschöne Farbe. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, die Freude am Stricken oder Häkeln haben!

I needed flesh coloured yarn to knit a doll. I received pale apricot and have abandoned the project until I can find better. Wasted my money. The yarn quality is OK but not as good as I hoped. Delivery was fast. No one's fault but my own.

Wunderschöne Wolle, die sich zum Stricken und Häkeln sehr gut eignet. Sie ist angenehm weich, also kein picken auf der Haut. Ich habe die Wolle mit einer recht kleinen Nadel verarbeitet, dadurch war das Gestrickte Form beständig. Für mich stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
